Sumitraji must understand that not only MP but many people may not be able to travel by train always and they have to fly for time factor. But for that the MP can not escape from the law. We didn't see his action in the flight but we saw the way he talked in TV and that is just unacceptable. Mahajanji should not try to defend indefensible, even .0001%, that will be a bad precedent for future and BJP a whole. No one will support that MP and he should be left to public for decide.
if we think deeply then get that if some passenger do wrong then airlines company can not ban the person they can fir and go to court and what order court will give that is final , and air lines company are not the self control organization they are like other business company . so they can protest and demand for punishment.
Hon'ble Speaker Madam, You are wrong. There is no privilege to MP's to travel by air. There is no breach of privilege is committed by the airlines by banning arrogant and violent Gaikwad. Being a LS speaker, I should should not guide you on the privileges of MP's.
May be we have got it wrong. But it is commonly understood that Right to life, liberty and dignity is of a Fundamental Nature. But is right to fly Fundamental? We hope that those who preside over the destiny of Citizens of India, keep dignity of a common person intact. It is also expected that Law would be allowed to run its course.

ban all air lines and stop air traffic but do not take any action against human rights violation.

He is banned for travelling by Airlines and was forced to travel in a train like ordinary citizen to teach him a lesson which he fully deserve for his goon type behaviour.
In India only, a person who cannot understand what an All Economy flight is, can become an MP. Moreover, i am glad the Airlines united themselves and took this action. Such a behavior from an MP is unwarranted and does not behove the people of Maharashtra. Just goes to show how power corrupts and vandalizes virtue!
