Master Stroke by Modi and SAmit Shah
by Srinivasan Iyer on Jun 21, 2017 07:46 PM

While no one can doubt the credentials of Shri KOvind, the two crafty men have chosen him for political reasons to further their cause with the dalits. BUt as the President his role is circumspect and perhaps only his legal acumen will be useful in his job. He will have to sign on the dotted line on proposals sent to him unless the President feels it is not in liner wit the Constitution. In one way he will be a check and provide a balance. Chatur lawyet, Jaitley will have to take second place

"Priceless" or one with no values
by Ravindran Eswaran on Jun 21, 2017 07:19 PM

The literal meaning of the Sanskrit word "Amulya" is: no value! But the "Dhwani" meaning is "Priceless"!! Another meaning is "Rootless"!!! Which of these meanings is best suited to this "Amulya" Ganguly? Mr.Kovind is only a candidate now. But Amulya is predicting his future without any basis!!

Amulya's assessment

This is a blatant misuse of freedom of speech/opinion whatsoever. Who is he to judge the President nominee, without even waiting to see how he will perform as the Head of our country.

Looks like the writer as an agent of opposition to test people reaction. I fully endorse your views that how can article be written even before he takes office.

Totally agree, drawing premature conclusions just from his past is absolute one sided & biased opinion of the lady journalist who has written this.

She would be much better placed to write this once the nominee gets elected as Prez & has served in office at least for 1yr. The nation very well remembers what kind of President Pratibha Patil was. When she mentions other names I don't know how this lady Prez did not find even one line. Compared to the names which she has mentioned in the late 70s & early 80s, the lady who served was Prez was worse off. She even misused her position to take repeated world tours with her entire brood of grandchildren & extended family relatives at the tax payer's cost.

So before ranting out against a person without even giving an opportunity to check how he performs, she needs to consider the deliberate blinkers which she has put on her eyes while trying to potray a unbiased assessment.

Highly biased article!
by Suresh B Kurbet on Jun 21, 2017 04:55 PM

Amulya means value less, useless, your article is biased. It is not fare to judge a person before he performs. What qualification you have to judge our future President. I am sure you will take back your words one day.
