PKV Pillai
Ram Nath Kovind as President
by PKV Pillai on Jun 22, 2017 08:13 AM

The post is based on certain hypothetical questions.
Siva Sena proposed the names of Mohan Bhagawat & M S Swaminathan. No Sarsangha Chalak will come for the job of President as everybody with minimum commonsense know. In the case of Swaminathan, how can anyone except him as a quarreling President? The President's job is not to quarrel with his Prime Minister. He is the Constitutional Head.

But, the author of the post, Amulya Ganguli consider the quarreling nature of a person is the basic qualification for the office of President.

If elected he may remain obliged to his mentor.
by Ahi Sen on Jun 21, 2017 11:27 PM

Kovind aspired for the post of IAS and failed. Kovind tried his luck in election and did not succeed. Now if he is made President,he is expected to be subservient to his selector. At present only one man\'s show is witnessed here and that equation is likely to prevail for some time more.

POWERS OF PRESIDENT OF INDIA
by Narayanan on Jun 21, 2017 09:45 PM

The powers of election commissioner were not known till the appointment of Mr T.N.Seshan.The bureaucrats are appointed by the ruling party of their choice as election commissioners. But during Mr Seshans time everybody came to know what all he can do.But his successors are having easy time because of Seshans contributions. Similarly Mr Ram Nath Kovind can do if he wants as he knows law.

Duffer Soni, dont play your record of Secular country. The party you blindly support has shown how secular they were during their six decades of rule. They just treated minority as their vote bank and pampered them all the time for their self interest. It is people like you who inspite of majority always write in their favour.

Argues Amulya Ganguli - appears to be a BIASED person if we go thru the writings.

Better we expect such yellow eyed journalists to come out of their frog well compound and learn to paint a realistic pictures.

It appears that his ancestors never breathed in open - pure oxygen & hence his thought process is likewise biased with inferior ideas about others & learned persons of the country & he will never have good ideas & good expectation about the learned person in the country.
