TAKSINg, is mot only one isolated village in Arunchal Pradesh, there are many on both sides of Indo Tibet border. The terrain is not only inhospitable but difficult to construct a road on engineering point of view. In fact defense should develop more helipads,under military management, capable of accepting heavy copters.These helipads can be successfully used in peacetime to serve both local population as well as support to military establishments. Further, we have to appreciate that terrain on Indian side much difficult than terrain on Tibetan side, hence in some sectors we may suffer setback, this is an analysis and not a fact.Wars are also won on mental state of the army and people. We have examples of Vietnam, Afghanistan etc.
