"this individual can do so only through Hindi slogans (like 'Bharat Mata Ki Jai')" The BJP must understand that HINDI , really URDU but written in Devanagri instead of nastaliq is now a regional language of North India.URDU/HIND is a Mughal court developed language which gained currency in North India at the cost of loss of Indian languages in North India then. As of now internet articles say that the languages spoken in Islamabad and Delhi are the same but for some difference in the pronunciation of some letters. Urdu is the national language of Pakistan. The writing is on the wall. The govt. must think it cannot impose Islamabad's spoken language on India by writing it in Devanagri scriptR.PONNAMBALAM
The news paper reports today on 4t Jan.2018 in it’s pg10 "India was ready to bear all expenses upto Rs.400 crores to make Hindi one of the official languages of U.N but it’s rules for acquiring such a status prevents the country from doing so External affairs Minister Sushma swaraj said on Wednesday.This is an affair external to the interest of unity of India.Urdu and Hindi are one and the same language as for as languages go, one written in Nastaliq and the other in Devanagri.The languages spoken in Islamabad and Delhi are the same but for some minor difference in the pronunciation of some letters.Urdu is Pakistan’s National Language.India need not spent to make that language one of the official language of U.N. India is not the country only of HINDI or URDU speaking people.This language cannot have the Indian constitution written in it.The Modi Govt. which by this behaves that is not for all Indians should correct such approach R.PONNAMBALAM
