System, Railway Board working needs improvement. Pull up. None takes responsibility, passing the buck down. Reforms in PPP not going up, because of attitude at Board's level. Change entire top team, bring professionals, then Railway will change.
Prabhu is not doing all the wrong. Its Indian system doing things worse. Laziness, negligence in duty by officers and that is not fault of Minister. Any Minister will come same things will happen if system will not amend it.

Avinash sir, increase in rates is due to the overly paid railway staff which is still not satisfied/happy even after 7 pay commission wages

Railway is social services not a bania shop to fourfold earning always so 5th commission was enough

Long working hours, shabby rest/guest rooms etc are what hampering routine work..
Merely criticising the minister for all and sundry and asking him to resign is not going to lead us to anywhere. What guarantee is there that the new incumbent will be able to solve all the ills of the railways. The railways under Mamata, Lalu (in particular) and several others in the past has become the most lethargic and inefficient organization. Did not Mamata resign when Gyaneshwari accident took place in her own turf killing several hundreds and did Lalu resign when scores of accidents took place including the infamous Danapur incident in Bihar. The problem is systemic. Unlike others, Mr. Prabhu has been sincerely trying to rectify the rot that has set into the system. Sevvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvvenovel changes have taken place in the railways. We see only the bad part of it for which the minister himself is not alone responsible. What is important the resultant action the minister has taken.

Resignation will not solve problem completely.....but people will take word "accountability" seriously. Next person will take responsibility along with accountability. From day 1 he will put efforts on avoiding accidents. Believe me if there is no resignation/sack ...then I am also ready to take that responsibility of Railway Minister...or prime minister :)
You have no control on management. No tte is on duty in any sleeper class coach.Regularly accident occurs due to negligence. No new train running in your regime. Please follow some education from Mr.shastri & Mr.Mishra who resign at a time. Please resign urgent Kishore singh
