Did all the people who talk of tolerance and inclusiveness today did so in 1960's when E.V.R was fighting caste ism or when NarayanaGuru in Kerala and Mahatma Phule in Maharastra were striving for societal equality.If you had not concerned yourself with inclusiveness then and this long this tolerance and inclusiveness talk is mere DRAMA
Rediff what an irony it is.I want to have communication on what my V.President till two days back has said.I have a right as a citizen who earns my daily wages to represent me to him and I may Vote for him in the next election I asked Tolerance for what and elaborated on it.Rediff you are deleting and deleting .name it DELETION BOARD
We must tell Tolerance for what.Else it it is having of tolerance from zero to infinity.This country has not treated the people who did low level jobs or low income earning jobs with equal respect for all the 70 years of our independence. Did those who talk of tolerance and inclusiveness today talked all these say 1960's or even before when people like Narayanaguru in Kerala Mahatma Phule in Maharastra E,V,R in Taminadu strived for inclusiveness of these people.What had congress in Power done for them.Why don't we include a host of castes and religions in our discussions and why do we restrict it to one religion and one caste and one group name for some castes.These castes are only profession-indicators.Let the govt. allow them higher remuneration; people will jump to that caste. Now someone who ought to have spoken for all those is still not talking about them but about --for fear of REDIFF let me not write more .Internet articles say that some one started this unease & separate business in 1888 because of the feeling the elite ruling status that for enjoyed would get lost in one man one vote philosophy .All these is only to remain the ruling class.R.Ponnambalam
