Right from ancient times India and its people were maintaining tolerance; due to which the net result was India faced the invasions from the Mongols, the Tartars, the Macedonians under the leadership of the great Alexander, which went on by the invasion of the Portugese, the French, and lastly the British before whom the Mughals too took part in the Invasion of India. Now in that category the Chinese too joined as the latest aggressor.
I don't think our former VP remember those and merely says there is no tolerance.
Tolerance doesn't mean that we have to tolerate every nasty things said and done in the name of freedom of expression and what not.
And lastly, remember " I HAVE GOT EVERY FREEDOM TO WEILD MY WALKING STICK; TILL IT DOES NOT TOUCH THE OTHER MAN'S NOSE.
Now unease and insecurity is only for Ansari as he was not chosen by the BJP for the post which Ansari was enjoying earlier.Let Ansari spend his remaining period in useful way by preaching tolerance to his religion which he belonged.
Let Ansari preach here after to his religion as he is retired and free. Also all these years both Ansari and his Congress party was preaching only for Majority religion was the cause for their route.
When Mr Pranab Mukherjee reminds the govt. on intolerance it is OK. BJP remains silent and does not oppose or say anything, proving Mr Mukherjee's points. But when it comes to Mr Ansari, there is shouting everywhere.
Actually this unwanted talks further create division which the so called secularist do not understand & they always speak only one sided, Probably they want it that way to keep their vested interests in tact.

Karan Thapar is an expert at this... Creating controversy and division under freedom of speech clause...
Is he referring insecurity of huriyat netas? or terrorists or underworld gangsters? Insecurities to those media and NGO who were supporting all such criminal activities with the help of some of the political parties?

Mr. Ansari is referring to insecurity of parties like Congress who have ruled the nation for the last 7 decades. Or the party like CPM, which has become reduntant despite latching on to Congress since 1947. Or the likes of deal makers who were flourishing in Lutyens Delhi all these years. But alas, he does not mention them, but raises a frivolous issue.
In fact all through 65 these years Majority of Indians were feeling insecure because of criminals like Dawood Ibrahims, Abu Salems and the local goons imitating them in every state of India. Now since last three years, that fear is disappearing and the criminals started feeling insecure, and this is the fact. Those 65 years no-one cared for the sentiments of the majority and gave a free hand to those.
It looks a political drama or dipression of a his highness who is not seeing any apportunity in future after enjoying the costitutional right through out the life. He should not spread the insecurity
Let us not feel insecure and unease if we are not the ruling elite today. It is a democracy;anybody can become the ruling elite anyday.Spread not haterd and nonexisting FEARSand INSECURITY ,Did anybody imagine some 10years back thatNr. N.Modi will be the P.M.2015.People offered him to come to sell tea..The days are there when the man on on the opposite side can also become a ruler R.Ponnambalam
