Has it occurred to anyone to wonder how come REDIFF is publishing these comments critical of itself? Might it not be a sign of maturity ? Could the government be wrong in its action? We ordinary Indians should not hesitate to ask ourselves tough questions about ourselves. We have been blessed with a free press, unlike at least one of our neighbors; there IS scope for expressing dissenting opinion. The fear of punishment MUST be removed, if it impinges on the right to free thought.
NDTV created embrassment even during 1999 i.e. Kargil war also. This is second time. Let it no think that in the name of freedom and to gain more TRP, it can do whatever it likes.
It is too late, this channel must had been banned just after 26/11 Mumbai attackes. In the name of Journalism it actually gave the graphic details of Taj Hotel to Terrorists sitting in Pakistan. Interestingly it is most viewed channel among India haters in Pakistan. This punishment is too small. This channel must be closed for ever.
