'Responsible Journalism' is difficult to define as much as it's difficult to prescribe limits to self-restraint.Modern Journalism teeters on 'factual' sensationalism purveying facts to the point of hurting the sensibilities of the state/society.TV journos should ask themselves 'Is it genuinely good for the society or does it credit me with a stunning scoop of investigative piece? I think if journos put this question to themselves their conscience will tell them that what they often do is to put their own self -pride before pro bono publico.NDTV should debate honestly why they deserve what's meted to them and be honestly apologetic and desist from rash exuberance of a 'eureka'moment.
NDTV had this coming - BARKHA is so smart to question others - how come shows she was naive when it comes to her own job. She deserves to be behind the bars.
All their activities are not in the national interest. They make mountains out of molehills to tarnish the image of the Govt. The way they project minor issues, anyone watching the channel will get a perception that India is a country where minorities are massacred and there is no justice or law in the country. While I had been working outside India, this particular channel will be on in the mess hall where other country nationals will be present. Such work of this channel brings discredit and dangerous consequences not only to the Govt in power but to the nation as a whole. It's high time that this channel is banned by the Govt at the earliest. They do not have anything positive to say about the Govt.
How long India will tolerate NAKED DANCE in tne name of Freedom of Speach/ Democracy. Indirectly this channel is working as a puupet show of our enemy nation Pakisthan, which should be banned forever.
Remember then venom NDTV spat before the Delhi election (attacks on Christians), then again before Bihar election (Award wapsi). and how it coined the word intolerance...WELL DONE. IT should be BANNED forever and not for only one DAY
