But for a longer ban
by Navneet Bhatnagar on Nov 05, 2016 11:39 PM

First NDTV shows things which could jeopardize safety of defense installations and its citizens. And then it has got the temerity to claim innocence and act as if being victimized.

Heights of double speak. The ban is infact quite mild . A black out only for 24 hours. It should have been fr a longer period as one you can not mess around with national security.

But alas, we will have pseudo activists and impertinent politicians crying hoarse , even in such matters.

A complete left wing media channel.
by rajarshi banerjee on Nov 05, 2016 11:33 PM

NDTV is a completely left wing media channel & if it feels that govt has done something wrong, it has recourse to the judicial system against the token 1 day ban. The channel presents a completely biased & one sided view of most broadcasts which casts every one else as a right winger & opposed to pluralism. NDTV should not forget that just like it is entitled to its own opinion about everything under the sun, so do all other channels & individuals have equal right to have opposing opinions. Just because it is not palatable to them does not mean everyone else is wrong or is a fundamentalist.

Media is corrupt
by naveen on Nov 05, 2016 11:25 PM

Unfortunately in this country, people think politicians are the only people who are corrupt. However Media are equally corrupt in every way. Some of these media are worth billions #. Where do they get this money from? Media should be monitored and if found guilty punished. Well done Govt. Here in this particular case, the NDTV officials claim they are innocent. wondeful way of thinking NDTV. I do not know which court appointed you a judge.

Right thing has been done...!!
by SEKHAR SHUKLA on Nov 05, 2016 10:32 PM

Freedom of press is just an another ploy !! I think NDTV must have been penalized for at least 30 days in lieu of just 1 day. All the Anti Indian elements have united to defy the government, which is for the first time in Indian history is doing some credible job..!! U keep protesting against Government and we will protest against NDTV and all those politicians who will come out of support for this Anti Indian and partial news channel. I can't forget how NDTV was helping terrorists and Pakistanis when there were attacks on Mumbai...!! Remember ..??
