The channel is going to court today, didn't you know ?

Actually, Modi is not really interested whether the court overturns his order !

He only wants the attention of commoners in election bound UP diverted with this stunt from the vexing OROP fiasco of the govt and the suicide of the retired soldier !

The suicide of the soldier is very inconvenient for him, since it cuts into his story that he and his party have patent rights over nationalism and love for jawans !

Dictatorial order ?
by Navneet Bhatnagar on Nov 06, 2016 10:32 PM  | Hide replies

Yes, the writer is correct. Show what you fee like, never mind the consequences. Even if that means compromising national security and severe collateral damage to defense property.

And when the government asks you questions or gives an adverse decision, raise a bogey cry of " personal liberty " being compromised.

What a sham ?

The order has been very mild. It should have been more severe . Then only such idiocies will come to an end.

NDTV is taking liberty beyond limits
by aam admi on Nov 06, 2016 08:08 PM

and it should be checked. it is not closed , it is punished for a day , so why such a hue and cry. It is a matter of day and not for a whole life. It would have been better if the Chennel gracefully accepted the punishment but Communist background of most of the reporters ,analysts, and the owner of NDTV could not able to digest the punishment gracefully.
BAD OMEN FOR NDTV.

Support NDTV
by Murli Rao on Nov 06, 2016 02:06 PM

I was reading an article by the editor of Indian Express. It was quite interesting to know about another point of view on the issue.

When terrorists have selected the location, identified the dark spots from where they could enter the base and moved towards the areas they wanted to move, did they really need NDTV's help? Also, many other channels aired similar content in terms of risks and challenges that the security agencies were facing while flushing out terrorists from the base. Then why single out NDTV?. I am sad that many of my countrymen are only interested in accepting the governments' version. Our experience since independence shows that the governments have not been right on many things. It is only the freedom of the press and the consequent awareness that has been built among public that has forced governments to do the right thing. If we are abdicating this responsibility, we will be doing a big disservice to the country.

We need to love our country, respect our country and ready to die for the country, but we also need to be equally concerned about truth. Truth is bitter most of the times and people very often trade off uncomfortable truth for comfortable lies. Lets not get into this trap.

Ban NDTV

If the writer has the courage of conviction of what he has written, he would not have withheld his name. Modi bashing as a central policy does not mean that you should espouse the cause of enemy country. Support from various Guilds and Association does not mean much since the persons constituting these guilds and associations cannot afford to have enemity with a fellow fish since they are living in the same water.

One-up-manship in reporting, causing threat to security of the country should not be tolerated. Serves them right. Freedom of press does not mean that you can get away with jeopardizing national security.

close this shameless channel named NDTV
by Jai Singh on Nov 06, 2016 07:25 AM

This is actually a channel trying hard to help terrorists and pakistan. There is a difference between freedom of speech and showing strategic info to help terrorists. Those supporting NDTV are equally shameless traitors.
