Author only sees one side of the picture. Do you know how the other states were annexed to india after partition? The Author has NEVER been plebiscite or referendum for any state. The ruler gave the option in every case, not the public. Same was the case in case of Kashmir, the ruler of which , first did not give his consent to join india or Pakistan, but later when pak attacked it in disguise, the Kashmir ruler asked india for help, to which india agreed on terms that Kashmir will be annexed to india. Thus Kashmir became part of india after the ruler gave his consent. And that was for WHOLE of Kashmir, including POK, which pak had illegally occupied by force then. Author is totally biased to write such an article and this is anti india, one sided.

In the last 70 years billions of rupees have been spend by the Central Govt. for the upliftment of the Kashmir/Kashmiri people. If they do not want to improve then who's fault it is? Also when you are talking of this topic, then why you have not thaught of Kashmiri Pandits. Do you feel the same pinch when they were left homeless in their own state.

Let us be clear kashmiris cant blamme india while they kill our jawans, put killed cows on display and burn our flag and alltaxis hotels show extreme hate for rest of india. At any other place in world millions of indians would be settled in kashmir to change population mix intead of appeasing kashmir buy flood of money. Pakistan should never ever get kashmir. Settle indians in.millions there.
Yes, because they never considered themselves as Indian citizens, and only as enjoying benefits, albeit by few as dolled out by an occupation army. They should be sent out to Pak-occupied Kashmir like at the time of division of India. The Pandits driven from Kashmir should be true residents of Indian side of Kashmir.
