Doval's action
by NG Nileshwar on Jan 08, 2016 09:15 AM

Relying on media reports is treacherous. Every reporter claims full knowledge of the situation, based on querries with locals. Ignorant that the right hand should not know what the left hand does, the role of the coordinator(NSA) bears on the situation. He is the only one to know what strategy has been adopted. All other views are manipulations of arm-chair critics. His liaison and rapport with the ministries to formulate a policy is not out of the blue. We lack the patriotism of appreciate this.

We are paying for foolishness of our leaders.
Pakistan has one consistent policy. i,e, bleed India slowly and continuously.
We are not willing to respond.

If our present rulers are not ready to learn from the past, these sort of attacks will definitely continue. Who is to blame for this?

No genius can judge it in any ways, let the Govt. of India handed over the administrative power to Yogi Adiyanath or Shiv Sena, there will be no happening of such terror attack in future. Castrates can do nothing except high level talk.

MIG21s as Frontline defense ?
by KrishnaKanth V on Jan 05, 2016 06:10 PM

Dear Nitin Gokhale Sir, I still keep wondering how our military & IAF placed several MIG 21s in the Pathankot airforce base which is supposedly the front line defense against attacks in Western front ?

We all know that MIGs have done their service since 1971 Indo-Pak war and have already been outdated. So what's the point in placing these old war machines against the more powerful F-16s which Pakistan already has in surplus ?

Why can't we place Sukhoi MIGs or the Mirages which are more modern with additional capabilities in the front line defense areas ? Those will be a deterrent force as compared with the MIG21s..just a thought from an ordinary Indian citizen..
