I was a lecturer in a college myself. All the positions meant for Dalits were deliberately not filled. Later, the college management appealed to the government to de-reserve the seats because "no suitable reserved candidates were found." This is how Dalits and backward castes were denied their rights. The struggle under the current Modi government will only be greater. Most important thing is to get rid of this communal, casteist government. The sooner the better.
