Discrimination is a reality
by Ashima Mittal on Aug 18, 2016 05:36 PM

Good work Sunil! Keep it up!
I am not a Dalit however have faced a lot of discrimination so it's not just about Dalits. For people like us who have no one to back them up have to face discrimination as well as higher standards to achieve anything as more than 50% of everything is reserved for Dalits. I have seen Dalits getting the rewards and then hiding the cast information from the society.
My point is the cast system should be abolished and right to education should be given to all. The standards of every job should be improved to humanitarian level using technology with respect for all jobs.

The discrimination of daliits is deep in micro villages. Not anymore in big cities and urban areas. My daughter asked me who is an engineer born and brought in Hyderabad "" who are daliits dad ? " she only knows one thing that certain section of people are getting reservations. She never speaks about it. But the parents at rural areas are keen about castism and injects that in to the children's brain by their words and deeds. So, it should be stopped at deep interior places and villages. I do not know why people call themselves daliits in cities and urban areas. We people live in cities have forgotton that long back.
