Well done, Sunil!
by azmat khan on Aug 17, 2016 03:59 PM  | Hide replies

I am very impressed with your achievements, Sunil. I really hope you do well in life. Most importantly, please go ahead with your objective to help your fellow Dalits. I was a lecturer in a college myself. All the positions meant for Dalits were deliberately not filled. Later, the college management appealed to the government to de-reserve the seats because "no suitable reserved candidates were found." This is how Dalits and backward castes were denied their rights. The struggle under the current Modi government will only be greater. Most important thing is to get rid of this communal, casteist government. The sooner the better.

You should inspire others
by Raman Krishnaswamy on Aug 17, 2016 03:39 PM

Sunil Yadav should inspire other Dalit youths to study and strive hard to raise themselves to respectibility, instead of relying on Politicians who are only offering lip sympathy and continue to keep them down, for their own political advantage.

Swachch bharat without safety?
by Bharat Kumar on Aug 17, 2016 01:38 PM  | Hide replies

Bharat will become Swachch in no time, if the karmacharis are given protective gear to clean the garbage. Masks, boots and gloves. It shouldn't cost much !

The problem is the brokers and bureaucrats in the chain. They will hijack everything including money set aside for garbage bins. So, without punitive action against such people who block everything, the system will remain clogged.

It is a shame we have ruthless fellows who siphon away money means for the coffins of dead soldiers, their boots when they are still alive and the safety equipment of the karmacharis. Is it any surprise that we feel cursed? We curse ourselves !

So instead of pontificating about Ramanujachari, the politicians would better to look after the struggling Karmacharis. People don't have to look too far to find reasons for revolution.

And the discourse in the media is, about which madman shouted Azaadi and which madman was a witness to it !

caste discrimination a curse by humanity
by Dinesh Chander on Aug 17, 2016 12:04 PM

No body is borne in upper or lower caste by his/her choice. Its in some dirty humane minds a tendency to curb, suppress, exploit the weak fellow human, whether upper or lower caste and take unlimited, never ending advantages, even at the cost of others lives. Its only your self respect, your inner will power, your knowledge, your attitude to do or die will change your fate. Nature has given immense powers to all its creatures to fight & survive. So fight against injustice unless you win or else you perish.

MR sunil should know one thing that the world doesnt run on philosophy -- it runs on innovations -- inventions - manufacturing - agriculture and business

where philosophy looks good only on paper -- HAVING M PHIL or a PHD will get him a job in ARTS/ phil college while the degree of arts college has no value in the outer world . nor does this mean that he should be paid lacks just because he got PHD . no body has stopped him from doing or starting his own business -- DIscrimination happens everywhere but Dalits made it a fashion to shout it out everywhere even though govt jobs and college admissions are reserved for them . ONE SHOULD KNOW DISCRIMINATION IS A DAILY AFFAIR IN PRIVATE SECTOR jobs . but people dont make noise of it . like this person is doing . EVEN THE OPEN CLASS meritious persons get discriminated while getting admissions in colleges . DO U HAVE ANY ANSWER FOR this .
