The Ambassador would like us to believe that there are a set of actions that need be taken and we shall have the relationship we want, with China and with Pakistan. Wonder what his achievements were as an 'Ambassador'... When in a difficult relationship, you try out different things with the hope that you will move in the desired direction. If you do not, you make a course correction. It is an ongoing process, and results may take decades to bear fruit. And, most important factor is how you grow yourself as a confident and successful Nation. I am neither admirer r hater of Modi.One thing for sure for any PM cannot succeed with Pakistan though people of both countries may want friendship but not the army of Pak. Even Jawarhalal Nehru/Ataji all tried sincerely but failed. To espect miracles from Modi is not correct second he is new to Delhi policy makers he is more like Shastri. Wait for another 3 years one may see light at the end of the tunnel.
Majarity of the corruption issue has to do with State Govt. than Central Govt. So, Central Govt. irrespective which party is in state has very little control in containing corruption.
I do not understand India's foreign policy in the last 60 years. It has not served us well at all. Nehruji cultivated friendship with China but they stabbed in the back and he died bec of that. We have fought 6 wars with Pak and numerous terror strikes, two under Nehruji and one under Mrs Gandhi. What is the achievement of foreign policy under them. Fact is India should first become strong internally. Be in a position to command respect. The only way for that is by eliminating poverty. Unfortunately due to corruption and lack of commitment India has not been able to realise its potential. India was much better off in ancient times. Now no more. Congress has to share majority of the blame bec it was in power for a long time. Today people do not even have drinking water leave aside other things. India and China both are nuclear powers. China doesn't recognise Kashmir, AP to be a part of India besides usurping land in Kashmir. India recognises Tibet to be part of China. Why ? They regualary enter our terrritory and show banners " Go back India". Do we have to be meek , have no self respect and surrender. On top of that today there is a trade deficit of 53 billion dollar with China. The old strategy hasn't worked so we have to try new things and be assertive. We have to tell them if u done ban Hafiz we will also not ban Uighur leaders.U have to atleast pay thm in the same coin and be equals, if nt superior instead of surrendering meekly.If we act meekly we can never ear

Yes he has taken many corrections for poor and kisans, but speed is very slow, still no accountability of govt. servants which can be seen - bribe is common, politicians-no control, Police/Judicial system-working as it is-not major change. Common man deals with govt. servants at lower level-no change in their attitude, they still see common man as a goat to be milked.
The article is pure politics from a desperated politician, he is either blind or a fool, Not only India but whole world applauds modi and his efforts, unlike other pms modi is not a puppet. ! Loves him his govt. his action, long live, india needs this type of ministers.
