As I have mentioned elsewhere, In case you don't know Pratibha Patil was a champion sportswoman when young, a state minister in her 20s and acquired a law degree after her marriage. Very inspiration woman when young.

What was her inspiring part? There was a lot of sports woman like PT Usha etc so what was her special inspiration? state ministers also there are women and minister is never inspiring to me at all. Getting a degree I also have so can I be president? :) Funny parts. Other presidents had much more. AB also pretty much many things to his favour

No. What is he doing selling oil, soaps and pain balms. he speaks dialogue written by others. What is his original contribution in any thing? he is just buying bungalows after bungalows and focused on launching his grand niece.And what about rekha?

who are you? some useless person venting out frustrations on a message board? at least bachchan has capability to launch his grand niece, you could not even launch yourself! stop focussing on celebrities, adopt a positive outlook and focus on yourself. look within. maybe you will find something positive to do. although, its unlikely.

What was pratibha's stature? He brother was involved in corruption also? What was her contribution to anything? Nothing so they are probably equal. So pratibha can become AB can become (Not necessarily but cannot rule out the option)
I agree with what has been said mostly. But on on count he is much better than Pratibha Patil. Sonia brought national shame by bringing her and by not requesting Kalam for the 2nd term

THat is the worst part. When somebody is good, why we cannot keep him for a second term? Pure politics.Party changes and that is it
In my view Mr. Ratan Tata is the right candidate for the post of PRESIDENT OF INDIA. TATAs have given a lot to this country in every sector since last many years. Now its a chance to give them a due respect.

Out of all candidates suggested by you guys no one is as suitable as Arvind kejriwal and Mayawati( dalit card also) . By appointing her we shall also get rid of a nuisance in UP.

YEs keeping them out of active politics will clean up politics but then they are not suitable in any way
