In India the post of president is prestigious and sacrosanct. But at the same time our Prez is guided by council of ministers of the Govt of the day and (he) Prez has no authority to exercise his/her opinion/decision.Indian Presidents have been a RUBBER STAMP and used for the convenience of the powers in the corridor of Delhi.AmBa is fit for the post.
There are enough senior politicians who toiled their life for politics and people...When veteran leader like Sh.L.K.Advaniji is their no need to think about Big B

Why Not ? Did not Ronald Regan a good President of USA? Left to me, however, UN could avail his services as an Ambassador of Love and Peace throughout the world.

NO ABSOLUTELY NOT. HE IS NOT FIT AS PER THE PREVIOUS LAUREATE PRESIDENTS LIKE HON'BLE A.P.J. ABDUL KALAM, DR RAJENDRA PRASAD,DR.S.RADHAKRISHNAN. FORGET ABOUT AB. INDIA IS AHEAD OF WORLD AND OUR PRESIDENTS SHOULD ALSO BE AHEAD OF THE WORLD. ABUNDANCE LAUREATES AVAILABLE. GO IN FOR REALITY. REGARDS. WITHOUT PREJUDICE.

You conveniently forget presidents like pratibha patil and zail singh. Compared to them AB is also fine
If USA could have a woodcutter's son as President and in India we have seen the controversial Patil as President (the seat ocupied by Kalam), he is much better qualified to be one. If public can elect unpadh Rabri as CM of a state what is wrong in him. If the country was go by the ways and thinking of few so called journos like you, then we will be electing 'the royal family' rulers only. Are you doing journalism for free?
