Reservations should be for the economically poor citizens of the Country/Society and not on the basis of caste or religion. As has been stated elsewhere in the comments given by a viewer, reservation is being used for getting elected in the election. If we analyze the data, there are so many citizens of the reserved category who are well to do having their own place of business or engaged in good job or occupation,earning well, having a house, maintaining vehicles and their children studying in a convent schools or good colleges. Why such citizens need reservaion? Let Government need not play games for the sake of election. Let the Govt., see the logic behind the reservations policy earnestly and fine tune the same to benefit the economically poor citizens. All other reservations should be scrapped. Let each one of them compete and come up in their field of their choice.

It is hightime we review the reservation policy.Reservations upto maximum 50% on low cadre posts may be reserved for all castes/creeds/religious based on their economic background of less than Rs.2.5 lakh income per annum for the family (parents/wife/unmarried children).Rest of all vacancies should be filled based on merits.
This looks that Hardik Patel is spreading this agitation only for getting political mileage out of it and befooling Patel community for his personal gain.Its shameful and no political parties should support this(Hardik) in this movement.

reservation is a only vote bank. make every one competitive then only india can become self sufficient and super power other wise savalery of political party.
for below poverty level people. Others who are middle class, should be ashamed of themselves before asking for reservation. Try to grab everything on merit, if you are worthy!
Patels cannot demand reservation as amatter of right OBCs and delits are a suppressed lot for several generations,advasis are still languishing and do not get any formal or informal support from the govt officials who do not have empathy for their fellow citizen the down trodden lot Until such time their conditions are improved in a tangible manner the reservation cannot be with drawn.
