Aree Sayed Ashraf Firdaus, now go to any madrassa of your choice and ask them similar questions. I copy-paste the queries from the above interview (?) which point out the paradox in-citu 1. When you went to government officials and told them that the madrassas are not celebrating Independence Day and Republic Day, why did you not go and tell this to the madrassas directly? 2.But the people at the madrassa are our countrymen, aren't they? Now there are constitutionally created entities (e.g. nearest police station, tehsildar or collector's office) and an individual is not supposed to take law in his hand and make them straight. If "they" are our countrymen (or if at all "they" think so), then why one must approach them to remind to unfurl the Tiranga? There does't exists discrimination like Grant-nonGrant institutions to unfurl Tiranga on national celebrations, this can not be an argument and it is Must for everybody. What is the outcome of the investigation of Madressa bomb explosion in Simulia, Dist Burdwan, Bengal, some months ago (oct 2014) where paid or hired "Wives" were seen involved in disposing off the victim's dead body Mr Sayed Ashaf Firdaus? Finally, I am interested in going through an interview of either of the Owaisi brothers by you, as you have been observed dealing with soft targets.
The Petitioner can do justice to ciizens when the poor dont get help from the police or govts. When powerful mafia turned politicians become ministers the first thing they do is to snatch the land and property of the weak and poor the system of police and courts seldom fail to render justice. Huge corruption n scams has made india a rotten state- theres no cure for such white collar crimes. We go to theatre for recreation after a tired n sick life but are forced to stand up for national anthem. True we need to respect our motherland but for man who has been deceived by govt. Failing to give justice will lose all hopes and morality of life. Let someone try to help such suffering citizens who lost faith in tbe nation.
Not only Madrassa but also every institute, Org should respect the Flag irrespective of Government funded or not. If you are an Indian you must do it in your own. Otherwise, Government should ensure this will happen everytime.
The rebellious Madrassas not only benefit Govt funds, but they should be ordered to be closed down instantaneously. Such Madrassas should be warned not to be rebellious to our national integrity! Give them time to change, if not they be declared traitors of our country and the leaders who made such a mess be put behind bars holding their cowardice act as instigation of anti-India proxy war within the country. Let us tell the errant-mongers this country shall not tolerate such indignities any more! This is India and all are Indians alike; all the good and bad phase of national occasions should be honored without colour of fundamentalism. Those cannot stand by it should leave; if not they be made to leave off this great civility: "the great Indian democratic Republic"!

Mr Nair can you give one example of one Madrassa that is rebellious. Can you give address of it with its trustee's name?

Dear Indian friend,
To me any such institution refused to hoist National flag and honour Indian Republic is rebellious. The article has demonstrated example in many words than one if you are willing to apply your mind democratically! Sure, you will! So, do act to challenge the wrong doers, if you can!

I think Indian Muslims have forged ahead in the past few years. Madrassas in South are much ahead of those in the North in terms of modern education and vocational training. Education overall in the North has to improve drastically which includes Madrassas too. My Muslim friends believe that just imparting religious education is not right given todays day and age. In Pakistan Madrassas now are under watchful eyes as that is where many political philosophies are passed on as religion. There was a lot of pressure from Pakistani intellectualls to modernize Maddrassas as Pakistanis saw that as an area that influenced young minds. In India we do not have that problem-thankfully! Teach children everything- make it a balanced and modern education.
