Sulman should be punished for drinking and driving and not for killing, as the people are not supposed to sleep on footpath and they were invisible too.

the people on the footpath were invisible, some one sitting next to him would have guided steered him on to the raod if they were visible. it is wrong to be invisble on the footpath, if they were visible sulman would have steered it back.

justice and salman khan case
by Ravi Mehra on May 08, 2015 02:43 PM

Trail Judge gives 5 year Jail. High Court Stays it. State threatens to file appeal in Supreme Court. All are hounding this particular case while the widow of the deceased victim wants compensation for life running.
What is sense, jailing him or making him maintaining the deceased widow.
The judiciary, the Police are above greed cannot be surely stated. 304 matters end up in compensations and not always in jail.lawyers and all others are making good money at the suffering of the victim. Compensation is the best justice that is denied.
DUSHMAN picture with Rajesh Khanna must be seen by judges.

Why have this TAMASHA of Sessions Court,High Court and Supreme Court if all matters are to be finally decided by the Supreme Court ? And how much expenses have been incurred by the State in these 13 years the case has been fought ? All this is money gone down the drain. For whose benefit ?

Next it will take another decade to make a decision as the case winds through the HC, SC, etc... By then Salman would be a 65 year old man who is anyway having no roles to do anymore.

Salman Khan gets bail and his sentence suspended
by Pradip Shah on May 08, 2015 02:29 PM

Is law not supposed to be equal for everyone ? It will give a simple and clear message to the people that the celebratis, wealthier people and people who can afford eminent and costliest lawyers can get the desired reliefs eventhough they dont deserve. Why this case was delayed for 13 years when similar cases involving Alistair Pareira, US national Noorie Havewala, Pune ST driver which happened much much later were decided by the court and the convicts were sent to jail . Even in case of Alistair Pariera, whose case happened much much later than Salman Khan recently came out of jail after completing his 3 years sentence. The readers are requested to read the full judgement of 230 pages delivered by the Judge shri Deshpande available on the court website to understand the reasons in details by the judge why he convicted Salman Khan. This judgment in lengthy but show the application of mind by the Honourable judge on all the aspects of the case before deciding the matter against Salman Khan. Meanwhile let Salman Khan have some much needed relief and to continue his battle before the honourable High court.

salman gets bail
by Mr Ekbote on May 08, 2015 02:23 PM  | Hide replies

all the events of the high court after the sessions court judgement, pointed to one and only one thing and that is the High Court had already determined to give him bail. Why was he not asked to be present in the court, when in fact the bail had expired on friday? This is travesty of justice and once again proves that those who are closer to the powers , judiciary can be tilted in their favour. We still live in the Era of Nizam...
Shame on every one who made this happened.

u r right boss that if political leaders do it then opposition will make a cry but what is the final result.Have u seen any politician going to jail for such acts.If their government is in power then nothing happens to them.Take for example of Mr. Amit Shah.He was involved in encounter case and when congress was in power at the center he was arrested for a day or some and released. But now since there govt is in power he was cleared of all the charges and now he is free. But see the works done by Salman Khan.Till now he has donated around 400 crores for the welfare of the handicapped, cancer patients and downtrodden people.Show me on such person. Atleast if he is let free many such people will be benefited by him.
