Disgusting ON how he gets away. It is quite shameful that our "distinguished" advocates come on all shows to defend such criminals as long as their remuneration is secured

what a sorry scenario
by brian crasto on May 08, 2015 03:16 PM

It will be like sanjay dutt. he will go to jail after he is 55 years of age, though he may get less years of jail. then he will out on parole every six months. If you got money you can get court decisions. There are many who are languishing in jail without trial. They have completed the period of sentence which they would have been convicted. Some of beggars petty thefts. they can afford bond or surety. The undertrials are about 2/3rd of the number of people in jail. During the british period its was the other way round. Sorry state of affair in the country. Though the supreme court has told to release all the undertrials who have completed their sentence but they have not been released.

MAD MASSES
by Ramanath Babu on May 08, 2015 02:57 PM  | Hide replies

It seems the masses have nothing else to do than running after his car! If not for nothing else, i request our Hon.ble PM Modiji to initiate immediate action to engage these people in one task or the other, so that they don't run after the celebrities, but be part of the work force engaged in development of India. I feel it is unemployment and lot of time they have got at their disposal which make them run after these people.

Question of Law?
by Raman Krishnaswamy on May 08, 2015 02:56 PM

I understand that the Supreme Court will only accepts cases where a question of Law or clarification of a law point is involved. Whereas now a days the Supreme Court seems to accept any type of cases and appeals. The Salman Case is clear cut one involving manslaughter deserves punishment. He has already been allowed to roam free for 13 years and staying of the sentence and giving chance to appeal and then reappeal, would only make him roam free for another 13.
