Right from beginning DMK party is against Brahmin, Nehru, Hindi. They were in favor demon Ravana. Many years have passed. Modern thinking has come instead of tradition culture but tamilians appears to not have changed much. Still there are many who believes in right thing. Therefore DMK is not successful in these days.

Gurukkal (corresponding to the more widely known 'Guru-ji') in Tamilnadu is very much from a Brahmin subcaste, the members of which are well-versed in the spirited performance of Archanas (flower offering to desired deity with Stotra ) and Abhishekas, in temples. However they may not be as well versed in related Sanskrit works as priests engaged for household religious ceremonies and rites.

the issue on hand is not whether he is a brahmin or not. The fact of the matter is that some crazy youngsters attacked an old man, who can barely stand. Don't they have elders in their family? And the worst language too. The only Indian language which is not born out of Sanskrit. Tamil can be described at best as semi dialect or semi language. You dont read what you write & you cant write what you say. Thats why one Tamilian Dandapaani was given nick name as Thanda Paani (Cold Water) because his name is written as Tanda Paani and not Dandapani. There are 1000s of such words mispelet in Tamil.

My learned and unbiassed Tamil friends tell me that although attempts are being made to substitute Tamil words for Sanskrit ones (either as they are, Tatsamas,or slightly altered, tadbhavas), it is inevitable that Tamil, like any other Indian languages, will depend on Sanskrit, for its practical use anfpd healthy growth, and that should be good except for parichialists and perverts. However, despite all the noise of purists, Tamil does have 30--50 per cent Sanskrit words (Tatsamas and Tatbhavas) but TN politicians and Tamil pundits (called Pulavars) ever take the trouble to learn about this connexion even if not Sanskrit language. Suffice it to say that almost all the names of Tamils are Sanskrit as in rest of India, but the Tamil purists due to their ignorance will argue that even words recognised as Skt are Tamil ! Political ideologies in TN quite unfortunately have used anti Skt and anti Brahmin sentiments whenever they believed they could improve their vote count, and the Pandits too have been unnecessarily deflected due to them, forgetting that judicious fusuon with other languages will enrich their own language, not harm it.

I am amazed at your knowledge on languages. How did you come to the conclusion that tamizh is the worst language? We read what we write and we can/do write what we speak. Ofcourse the language has seen some changes in pronunciation for modern day usage and it is not the only language to have seen such changes. Initially, tamizh did not have any sanskrit letters. But sanskrit letters were included later, to ease the usage of some sanskrit words in tamizh language. And note that tamizh is one of the oldest surviving classical language. Try to put into your peanut sized brain, that it is not always possible to exactly get the same pornunciation of words in a language into another one. Theres no best language or worst language. Try to do some basic analysis before you make such harsh comments.
There is a strong suspicion that the politically emasculated DMK/ Mu.Karunanidhi (what with the exposures of 2G Spectrum scams, land grabbing, money laundering and related activities) is the brain behind these heinous acts against Brahmins, knowing full well that their community is not particularlynknown for resisting brutish deeds perpetrated on them. It is urgent and necessary for social analysts/writers to investigate abpnd expose for the public, the connection and collusion betweem the DMK and tge DK (the openly anti-brahmin outfit whose support is taken by the DMK whenever tgey (mis)calculate the DK can help it to regain its lost political (ruling) power.

a human being is a human being, be it a Brahmin or just a person from other community. If people do not learn to live together forgetting their communal differences, what is the use of speaking about equality?
This crime will come under several sections. 1. Attempt to commit murder. 2. Attempt to incite communal violence, 3. Attempt to amputate or create bodily injury. 4. Attempt to insult other's religions sentiments.
All together these goondas will get altest 25 years in prison.
Will the govt. do something about it. If the govt. is really secular, they must slap all these serious charges on these goondas and send them to prison.

No need to govt to behave any thing this gunds this is our own duty while voting we are electing all kichadis instead of making only 2 parties. At lease know onward pleasse do that then only all such type of activities will stop and realy life come.
In TN especially the oppressors of downtrodden were always the intermediate castes and not brahmins.. Brahmisn never had power, strength or money to oppress anyone...Becos of 1000 years of discipline, pursuit of knowledge, spirituality, simple living Brahmins became achievers.. all communties if they follow the same can become achievers. Dravidian fools without realizing this abuse the brahmins and inturn they also havent developed.

No. It happened only in some places. Had it been throughout India, Brahmins would not have had the need to migrate out of TN and India over these years

Mr "Mu Ka" is like a wounded, almost dead tiger, politically, and in his extreme desperation, is said to be the mischief maker. (He however chooses to be doing these notorious deeds from the hideout, given the rather undavoury truth that he is still counting on Brahmin auditors, even Pandits and astrologers, not to mention Brahmin politicians from the North.
It was just shocking to read this news. My deepest sympathies and respects to the gentle and noble minded priest. As Indians we should hang our heads in shame. Sadly, political parties particularly the casteist ones have caused the greatest damage to India. The DMK has proved itself to be the biggest looter of the nation through various scams. Sane elements in Tamil Nadu society should exterminate such thugs and hooligans.
