Administration of Justice
by Satya Puran on Aug 01, 2015 07:37 PM

The very idea of justice implies a principle of implied equality thus presuming that all judges will interpret the available evidence in same dispassionate manner. However, judgments are replete with personal views of judges on morality, religion and even politics shadowing the obvious ….. this fault at lower Courts is often remedied at the Supreme Court level. However, the element of personal training, background and subjectivity can impact the process of evaluation even at this level being. How was it possible for politically ‘informed’ to predict the fate of some cases with the change in government?

judges have become above law 22 years they take for justice
by J Arora on Jul 31, 2015 12:45 PM

Yakub would have died easily and now born in another family and playing a 13 year child, these cronics took 13 years to find out if he was guilty or not. Judges say all Chartered accountants are like that and because the sineesperswon was educated he survived had he been illetrate we would have finished him off like other Indians where we loot crores of rupees. Means for Judges education is harmful to their business. Then why are we promoting education and if Judge says being educated is a crime then every educated person is a criminal. Is the Judge illetrate also. When judge business danda started people went to lawyers becasue they were uneducated bit when their sons got educated they stopped going to courts.

Even three years is too long a period. All criminal cases should be completed, including all appeals, within one year. Civil cases should take only six months. If bail application is not filed for a convict under trial for minor offences, they should be released by courts after six months.
