As Mr.Zafar Sareshwala in his own words considers there is hardly any difference between capital punishment and life imprisonment. So, why he is asking to commute his death sentence to life imprisonment? Is it not hypocrisy?
Very flawed-ask those who have lost their loved ones-lost their everything because of what Mr Yakub made it happen actively.Not interested in having criminals of nation as fugitives back to know the other side.He is hard core-seasoned-educated well planned and cool headed white collared sofisticated criminal.His crime is huge-much bigger than those who planted explosives-Mr Yakub planned,coordinated and executed his brothers plan as an educated intelligent and resourceful man and worst of all-chose to run away,take refuge in Pakistan under ISI.Unimaginable.He is a criminal that just happens to be a Bhartiya and our own.Law of the land has chosen the right punishment for his very own actions against humans,humanity ,and the nation.Evil can not be negated by subsequent behaviour and so called co-operation.It is like "so chuhe maar ke billi hajj karne ko chali"scenario. Mr Memon chose his actions and chose his fate.
