The question is only about the DOUBLE STANDARDS
by A on Jan 08, 2015 08:55 PM

When you talk about a principle, examine whether it is applied to all cases without being choosy. Rational Criticism, however bitter, is welcome provided it is not ONLY against a particular community, group or belief. In India and perhaps elsewhere, the only easy target is the ancient Indian way of life which is relatively peaceful. The so called champions of freedom of expression are silent when it comes to the two cruelest and violent ideologies on earth; may be because of fear, which shows that these champions of freedom of expression are not ready to die for the cause they are championing. That is the reason why intolerance is growing in India and elsewhere. If you target irrationality of particular community, ideology or belief just because they are soft but keep excruciating silence over the irrationality of your own or any other community, ideology or belief due to affection or fear, then the targeted community, belief or ideology will naturally target you. Hello, Champions of freedom of expression, liberalism and secularism, please learn a lesson or two from ancient Indian way of life. If you find that they are becoming more and more intolerant, then the route cause is the DOUBLE STANDARDS practiced by YOU and not due to any other reason.

Look at this guy

He complains about pressure from corporates on their freedom to abuse. He does not talk about people, because he is confident that he and his secularist can continue to fool us. Shameless!

Lessons for india? yes....
by devedas bhaskar on Jan 08, 2015 08:48 PM

1)hindus of kashmir have been chased out...mainstream media does not exercise its freedom of expression to condemn this.
2)our media does not highlight the plight of Tasleema Nasreen

3) our media does not use its freedom to bring out in the open the anti-secular preachings in madrassas and ch1rches

4) the anti-hindu bias of our "secularists'does not find much expression in our media.....
