GREENING OUR TOWNS AND CITIES ON A WAR FOOTING not merely on paper but actually on ground to cope with the increased 'pollution levels' as we go on an equally essential massive 'make in india' mode with the setting up of large number of factories and manufacturing units of all sizes emitting multitude forms of waste and residual gases in the atmosphere residual waste. our towns and cities must be dotted with tree-plantations in every small or big vacant spaces within the residential areas and full fledged forests of 10 to 50 sq.kms on the suburbs of these burgeoning concrete jungles.Govt. must rapidly resort to PPP in this area for actual results on ground so that not only our cities and towns but also the rest of the countryside are duly beautified through all kinds of structured plantations like we see in the developed world.

And in order to generate funds for greening the nation, the present govt. which is working constructively and means serious business in all aspects of the nation's development must not hesitate to impose an increased 'environmental tax' on all commercial units whatever the size, with higher rates for larger businesses and industrial houses. Whatver said, the a healthy and ecologically sound environment cannot be compromised and the efforts of the state have to match the urgency of the situation.
Ours is not industrialised country.All the nuclear warheads,dangerous weapons and ICBMs are with developed countries.Still we are targeted because we are poor.Dont"t you think that all the above do not pollute earth's atmosphere ? Well we can monitor ourselves but let us shout that we are the victims of global pollution we are not creators of pollution.

India will see an increase in the same in coming years -- as 70 percent population is below 35 -- giving rise to 30 percent growth in coming 20 to 30 years . forests will be cut down even agricultural land is getting sold for plotting and building . all around big cities. Thanks to our fore fathers for creating such a situation . adding to it all foolish city planning for political reasons allowing any one to set up slum in and around cities -- along with Bollywood movies showcasing highly egoestic heros and kissing scenes to polute the mind of youth making them more weak and intolerant , there by increasing crimes and foolishness among the people , as well as western effect of marketing everything ones ability even in relationships and in officies everywhere -- has brought the country on path of self destruction . as indicated by naxalism, RAISING OF SIMI, INDIAN MUJAHIDDEN AND MANY MORE STILL TO COME TO ADD TO THE BLUNDER CREATED with increasing cost of land and food grains
When CNG was made compulsory for public transport all thought Delhi will have less suspended particles and less pollution but who could imagine non standard CNG engines will be used and which will release un burnt Benzene in the atmosphere and result in hanging of Benzene in atmosphere which is cancerous and makes for fog/smog in winter season pollution check should also see amount of Benzene and other un burnt gases in exhaust of the gases along with CO/CO2 gases.
