Modi wants Development, Progress and Modernization for India.
Americans want Environmental Protection and they want to put India behind on the backfoot by imposing restrictions like Air Pollution control, Chemical residue etc etc.
In the long run - Whether USA, India or any country - All of them will be severely affected by Industrialization and Modernity, Deforestation will take heavy toll on Human beings in the coming years.
We Indians did not expect this from USA,our dear friend,whom we adore,& whose President was lavishly welcomed & entertained by our Govt, led by our PM & Corporate houses.

air pollution problem should also be included inswachha bharat abhiyaan.pollution has no boundaries and can affect the whole world.already eating junk food contaminated with artificial food coloring and chemicals being sprayed on crops does not help matters.
