India is consolidating its position vis-a-vis China by striking deal in quick succession with Bhutan, Nepal, Japan, Australia and Vietnam. PM Modi's visit to the USA will help in further consolidation as the USA is also vary of Chinese expansionist strategy. The incursions by the Chinese were deliberate with an intention to ruffle the Indian leadership before and during its dealings with Xi Jinping. The Chinese, howsoever unreliable/crooked they might be, will get a befitting reply for all their excesses when the time comes. Just wait and watch.

India and China were on par in different spheres including economics in 1947. But Congress misrule led to partition, loss of vast Indian territory in the form of Pakistan,followed by PoK (thanks to Nehru) and Tibet plus further territory. All because Nehru was more interested in propping up his ego with idealism rather than realpolitik. He messed up big time, and his daughter whilst being great improvement in foreign policy and equally disastrous on economic front. India is paying the price for this gross economic mess. Modi has made a difference even in 4 months, but he not a miracle worker and can and will make transformation change if he given 10years,
