We agree Narendra Modi is a simple man with good intention and wants to take our country forward. But he runs a corrupt and communal party, there is no doubt about that. Some of his party members are in politics for business.
I will quote from an example of Lee Kuan Yew Singapore. He said in a parliament talk which you can see in video on youtube (Lee Kuan Yew (Part 3 of 3). He said to get good governance you must have good men in change of the government. What I have observed in the last 40 years in that even with a weak and poor government system, but with good strong and honest men in charge you get possible government with decent progress.
This is not administration doing a job for the people of the country, but an entrepreneurship on the political stage on a national scale,we change the complexion of Singapore. Singapore today is an equal society, least corrupt, safest, one of the cleanest, ultra modern and role model country and a good place to do business and gateway to other Asia Pacific region. This was because we brought the system in place without following the democratic norms and process.
On asked he could have been more democratic. He said most important thing is giving job and income to public, and if Singapore had failed in that a country wide revolution would have taken place...
Watched lot of Lee Kuan Yew videos and his books, the current system in India is that of Singapore in late 1960's with corrupt, shameless, businessmen politician

Lee also gave a message to the world with his own experience that only politics can determine people's destiny. It is very good message for a nation like India which follows hero worship of movie stars and cricketers. India has produced great intellectuals, sportsmen, artist, what it did not produce is a leader like Lee Kuan Yew who can change the destiny of a nation like he turned a nation from third world to first world.

It is the reason many have repeated Singapore model of development is the only model that can bring India out of trouble else the same story will go on and on. Corruption must be thrown out of completely, judicial reforms, political reforms on big scale, meritocracy system and best and most educated people in government jobs at top position so that they can help government to implement best policies and help may be the PM of Modi to take wise decisions that useless uneducated people who work in government on caste base system that congress past regime gave us in the last 65 years and deal with hard line elements like Shiv Sena, RSS and even MIM or any other firmly, because if you give leverage to one, other would form and divide further.

This is very well-written realistic sum-up of the events. It would be unrealistic to expect too much at this juncture. At least a positive beginning has been made. We have to follow it up. Moreover, in the present complex scenario of global relationships, may be we can take a cue from Bismarck in post-unified Germany after 1871.
