I think previous Govt has alreday given due recognition to Sardar ji. Like Sardar saroval project. We have patel nagar , Sardad Patel marg (s.p . marg)like M.G marg in almost every city . I dont why BJP is trying to spread falsehood in the country.
freedom is never for poor people only those who want to rule others got the freedom, poor people still under bondage but we want so much expensive statue which many are thinking will bring great fame, what is the use if your people suffer for food, clothes, jobs and have great reputation.

Why no crticism when statues and memorials of Nehru-Gandhy family were built?
It was well executed plan by kangress to bring out only one particular family members and their achievements and destroy other great leaders achievements and they succeeded in that.
It is laudable that the conrtibutions made by Sardar Vallbhbhai Patel to the Indian freedom struggle and later as an able administrator of the Govt. of India during Nehru era has found a due recognition with BJP under NaMo and Amit shah heading the Govt. and the Party respectively.It may be a matter of coincidence that both Gandhiji and Patelji are from Gujarat.

There was no Government of India before 1951. Patel was dead by then. There was the Indian Dominion Government with a Vice Roy on top and a British General on top of the Army.

The viceroy was there until 1947 after which there was a Governor General. That was an Indian, Rajaji. Freedom really came in 1947. On 26 Jan. 1950 the Constitution came into effect: the Dominion ceased to exist, replaced by the Republic.

Some of the example of good administration of Patel Ji, Then Home Minister. 1. He could not control the riot during partition. 2. He could not stop Gandhi ji Assassination, knowing the fact that some of the RSS pepole are conspiring to assassinate Gandhi Ji. This was the reason , why patl ji said to ban RSS after Gandhi Ji assassination. 2. It is well documented record (book written by contemporary writers) that his role for organizing the states is highly exaggerated. Please Read April or May 2014 Front line Magazine for full detail.

Nitesh You people are to be given free coaching from 1st Standard again... because we do not understand what school you have studied. Even then Supreme court has acquitted a case against RSS .. saying they do not have any role in Gandhi assassination... If you can not say whether your milk man will come to your house tomorrow or not but you want the Govt to know any conspiracies... if that is true then you are the most inefficient , incompetent and irresponsible person ...
