Persons like this writer do not understand the value of society and the customs in India. Every blind of westernized thinking has the same way. He must learn to live in society which is more civilized then Americans and Britishers and other Europeans who still hate Asians, Africans just because of their color also the slavery was first adopted by these so called civilized people.

People like K.K.Bose have not understood the history of India and continue to flay dead horses like Aryan invasion theory, etc. If they had really studied the life style prevalent in India in the era before invasion by Mughals, they won't be ranting like this. What non-sense when he says ban caste system as if it is not already done? In stead he should demand improvement in education system, removal of caste clause in school admission forms, etc., to truly uplift the poor. Standing in front of camera and blasting a group of Indians will not solve the problem but only show his ignorance!
and still only handful of IITS nd IIMs Hardly any good quality schools or colleges. But instead we fight on reservation? USA has 1/3rd population than India, but 4 times more universities. Hence they don't need reservation.
thats why 'reservation' for the lower castes.any governemnt anywhere in the world is duty bound to uplift their poor people. But in india we have this society imposed social backwardness. Hence reservation based on caste system is necessary.
I hope the pm who wants classless society, non regional parties, non religious party may work wonders in future. for that we have to follow the US standard irrespective of caste religion one can excel and many indians have excelled provided they keep the rituals in the living room and dining room
I agree with the statement partially , I am general category, during the past century and present century there are changes and groth, I can say 95 % in corporation area, and 50% in country side area, this imrovement is because of the reservation and concession in education, bacawards are educated and uplifted to the class society, you may visit or enterview the IAS oficer highly qualified from the B.C. they will agree there is change, society should wit from generation to generation, My grand father was Police Patil, then and now I am a common man, Need not explain more about it. during my childhood some times I use to go with the Cow girl who schedule caste.
