Why it is only to South India
by Pranay Munshi on Oct 16, 2014 07:54 PM  | Hide replies

Why Indian Govt is giving everything to South India ... again the new university Valiamala near Trivandrum. If any student from north wants to study in this university can't sacrifice this much distance ... It's acceptable that launching related work can be done to areas which are near to sea but at least colleges or universities can be given to other areas.
Why Indian Govt is creating imbalance?
Don't give example of intelligence of south Indians or Law and Order situation in north... at lease it can be given to West Bengal or Gujrat if sea shore is important.

Oh dear you r thinking tooo much. Prof.Sarabhai ( for your satisfaction GUJARATHI. for me INDIAN) selescted Thumba based on geography as its close to magnetic equator. All ISRO activities are based around it. So the University was also set near by so that students can participate in action. nothing else. just come and visit IIT Madras you can see people from all around INDIA or go to VIT. what diffrence dose it going to make. people get admited based on exams. whoever dose it gets in. as simple as that.

Wooden spoon for DRDO?
by The Patriot on Oct 16, 2014 05:02 PM

Why is no one congratulating DRDO? They have done so much for Indian armed forces, like made the 7th generation aircraft (rest of the world in only in 5th generation), made a gun that can fire without fail, made radars that can see nothing (can you see nothing?) gave extensions to all old scinetist so that they can complete building their house, educating their children and marrying their daughters. Why are people so unsympathetic to such a great organisation.

Nonperformance of HAL
by chandi charan mitra on Oct 16, 2014 02:19 PM

There is need for complete overhaul at HAL. It has to be performance and achievement oriented. A private organisation with similar support might have prospered by this time. Unquestioned subsidy is a slow poison and it kills.
