Space is Universal.There are no limitations of regions and directions.So let us start thinking of India as a whole in place of North or South or East and West.Knowledge has no barriers nor LIMITATIONS.
India is rich with medhaa sampaththy [wealth of knowledge] and brimming with young blood. In 1969 US claimed that Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin has landed on the moon. After 45 years what is the progress in this regard by NASA? There were reports that the whole drama is a false claim. I wish India should not waste money by sending man on the moon. It will be mere waste of money. Learn lessons from NASA.

NASA had done very little after moon landing and has been sucking money from the US government without achieving much. Over the years the NASA contractors have employed useless people somewhat similar to the Indian companies and public sector organizations. Hence, the poor results are not surprising. In sharp contrast, NASA and the United States government graciously recognize the achievements of the ISRO which has become an international legend after the success of the Mars mission.
ISRO, Atomic Energy etc are the symbols of foundations done by great, visionary, patriotic scientists whose basics became pillars of the country now. These people are real Bharat Ratnas, as otherwise, they too would have settled abroad, earn dollars like NRIs. But, they did it for country.
One would feel proud in recognizing Indians as legends on the day they distinguish Knowledge transfer, Invention and Discovery.
What ISRO, HAL and all Indian defense organisations are doing is trying to redo the same thing which Westeners did it before on name of Knowledge transfer and employment.
Doing so is bringing down the cost of maintenance and also knowledge transfer to poor, underdeveloped and developing countries.
Can Indian research organizations, especially Defense organisations show or produce one Invention to their credit list?
Legends is too much to be used for Indians, at present.
Let DRDO or ISRO do something that USA, Russia or European countries failed to do or didn't do to crave for those compliments and greetings.
