over publcity
by rajesh on May 22, 2014 09:20 PM  | Hide replies

Modi is given over publcity, such publicity should be for political BJP offices, we do not see now modi carrying a naked small boy or girl yet on his lap, Soon such pictures will get in media. Manmohan singh was also prime minister, and there were many, Modi is greediest of all prime ministers, whenever, a publicity needed, he shows his capability?

Not another Nehru
by Vish on May 22, 2014 09:06 PM

Lets hope he doesn't become another Nehru, who was more interested in strutting on the world stage rather then attending to India's pressing domestic issues. Most of India's present problems are a legacy of Nehru. Lets hope Modi doesn't become a second Nehru and adds to these problems.

One-third of new MPs face criminal charges, according to the Association for Democratic Reforms, which analysed the election affidavits filed before the Election Commission
The 16th Lok Sabha will have the highest number of MPs with criminal cases against them. According to the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), which analysed the election affidavits filed before the Election Commission, 34 per cent of the new MPs face criminal charges. The percentage in 2009 and 2004 stood at 30 and 24 respectively.
RJD tops the list

Among the major parties, the Rashtriya Janata Dal leads the table with all its four MPs facing criminal charges, followed by the Shiv Sena (15 of 18 MPs) and the Nationalist Congress Party (4 of 5 MPs). Over a third of the BJP’s new MPs are facing criminal charges and over a fifth face serious criminal charges. For the Congress, the proportion is lower at 18 per cent and 7 per cent respectively.
Across parties, candidates facing criminal charges were more than twice as likely to win as compared to those with a clean record, the ADR data shows.
Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar have the highest number of candidates with criminal cases against them.
Its a hall of shame to the indian politics

Modi can be Nehru
by akshay on May 22, 2014 07:59 PM  | Hide replies

Modi can be bigger than Nehru. But for that He needs so many more things than just secularism. Nobody is talking of secularism in India now because it is always secular. Only some people like Kelkar who feel so much gulty for being Hindu and having a misconception that Hindus are not secular.Such people have defeated thinking and will take bad image of spineless India abroad. Its really a curse to India.

Only focus at one place. It is to check through RTI the BIlls and Payments made by an Engineering Deptt(civil/mechanical/electrical) of any organisation.Since Rs. 100/- given for development goes to Enginering Deptt. which legally uses it through false /inflated bills to be ratified by Auditors.Hence, users of a municipal area donot know what happened. So all retired persons should have RTI weapon to know the expenditures in a financial year only of Engineering deptt. You will see a CHANGE in that area.
