This is exactly what I was afraid of. A software engineer can have an access and rectify the software of another computer situated elsewhere, Similarly some-one can have an access to the EVMs (electronic voting machine)and possibly manipulate and transfer the votes as he wish. Why Election Commission was not using a paper trail as ordered by the Supreme Court. Election Commission is a Central Govt. controlled department.There looks to be something fishy.
This is just my opinion. There are many experts in the Computer Software/Hardware field, and they can better throw some light on this.
Mr MOdi and the PM chair. The twist and surprise will all be hidden in the EVM. Why insist on EVM when it is faulty, Is the BJP counting the chicken before they hatch. Congress confidence and the goof up in 2009. all point to a back door method
supreme court verdict was that EVM produce receipt/acknoldegment for every casted vote. the useless govt has not implemented it even after 2 years of verdict..EC is hand picked by ruling govt.. and has no people and they take support of govt employees who are in some way associated with parties....EC is being projected as great by media... all this bcos of vested interests...
No machine is tamper proof if there is access to it. Even an engineering student can program an evm to transfer all the votes to a particular party. But the question is 1. Are EVMs so accessible to persons who can manipulate the software 2. Do you really think you can keep it a secret if thousands of EVMs have to be manipulated. Do you also know that on the day of voting EVMs are tested in front of party representatives for correct functionality?

Dear Srini, It is possible when the rigging is done by the very person who is in control of it. We have seen the blatantly partisan colours of the CEC this election.

If Modi is not coming even after this much predictions, no doubt it will be the major scandal in India and no one will believe this election is genuine.
EVM surprises everybody everytime in every elections. Kejriwal defeating Dixit is one example. of course no PUN intended. This time's biggest surprise is Amrinder singh may defeat Jaitley.

Kejriwal AAP win was also played game by Congress manipulating the machines to play the same game in Lok sabha. Who Knows??
