Solution to fair election
by Sheikh Akber on May 15, 2014 03:59 PM  | Hide replies

Solution: Every individual who goes to vote, gets an unique digital number which only EVM will flash before voting with a press of one button, the number must be remembered or noted by the voter, and then he press the voting button, later Election commission must update on its website which serial number voted for which party post results, this can be cross-checked by voter themselves post election results to verify that election was not rigged and his/her vote went only to the desired party.

Election should be on voice basis as done inside Parliament. There cannot be any tampering. Whoever's supporters shouts high will get elected.

Even if there is a slightest doubt; EVMs should be immediately discarded.

This incidence occured in Pune, Maharashtra at Kalmadi School (Erandawane) where the voting machine was confestigated after a person reported that he pressed BJP button but could see light in front of Congress.

On 8 Oct 2013, the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Sathasivam delivered a judgement that all EVMs must have a paper trail, that is, a print out showing the symbol of the party for which the voter cast his vote. This will be visible to the voter for 6 seconds for verification by him/her and then will automatically get dropped into a locked and sealed ballot box. Thipaper trail will be treated as a back up for verification in case of any complaints of rigging by anyone.
Sadly and surprisingly, this was implemented in only 8 constituencies out of 543, the the election commission.
So much for FREE and FAIR POLLS

Correction - not BJP fans but BJP supporters that voted against corrupt congress. How do you feel if you deposited cert in amount of your hard earned money but instead of depositing, if the banking system deduct it from your account? You blame bank's system or you suspect your own action of depositing or withdrawal?

EVM voting in India was started for first time in 2004, and do you know who won, inspite of the exit/opinion polls predicting otherwise ? It was the congress

Second; the chief election commissioner who actually presided over the implementation of voting through EVMs was one Mr.MS Gill, who happened to be nominated by the congress to the Rajya Sabha after his retirement and just by similar co-incidence became a cabinet minister - minister for sports and youth affairs under the congress regime; interesting, eh ?

Because the INC is not interested in any state, a source of unnecessary headache; when all the money and power lies at the centre!
If they manage to get any state, it will be just a bonus or a head ache, whichever way one looks at it.
And the state election results are precisely the excuse that the congress may take to defend the legitimacy of rigged EVMs

it;s a good idea but this violates a principle of non disclosure of votes during election. If i have a way of proving i voted for a candidate then individual vote scan easily be bought and sold.

Little knowledge is very dangerous, an old saying.
First, EVM voting was started for first time in 2004, and do you know who won, inspite of the exit/opinion polls predicting otherwise ? It was the congress
Second; the chief election commissioner who actually presided over the implementation of voting through EVMs was one Mr.MS Gill, who happened to be nominated by the congress to the Rajya Sabha after his retirement and just by co-incidence became a cabinet minister - minister for sports and youth affairs
Third, the chief election commissioner is a constitutional post who works under the central govt. We have all seen how independently these heads are allowed to work by the current govt which was aptly voiced by the Supreme Court when the Hon'ble Supreme Court was compelled to describe the CBI, another constitutional body, as a caged parrot.
To say that the gujrat elections were rigged by BJP, is either being naïve or just plain ignorant

Yes Congress dirty trick department is much more stronger than average Indian think. Do not you see how they disobey even Supreme court orders? If BJP misses half way mark this election, there will be serious questions regarding ECI , his forced appointment by Sonia ji & EVM.

Tampering of EVM's

In India Aadhar card can be linked to
a)control rigging b)Increase % of voting c)Facilitate online voting
Tampering of EVM's can be avoided by connecting all EVM's to a Server
