If women in public space learn to behave themselves, then everything would be in order. when you have mayawati, sonia, mamata, etc., using filthy language against their opponents or other women in society like what sonia did against modi like "Maut ka saudagar", or mamata speaking ill of an already traumatized rape victim in Kolkota, what examples are they setting? We should be thankful that we start our education from our dear mothers and sisters at home and not get influenced by such "trouble mongers" like the ones mentioned above. Get rid of them and others with similar views and society will be good. No point in blaming Bollywood, Tollywood, Hollywood etc. Movies also show good things like beating the pulp out of corrupt politicians. why dont people follow that instead of being choosy on following smuggling, rapes, killings, etc.? Respect the mother and respect for the Motherland and respect for womanhood will automatically follow. No need to go to any fake university to study that like rahul gandhi did.
The best persons to answer this question would be the most educated and highly respected individuals who left their university in tears when they finished their "studies"......Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. Of course, you could even ask Lalu Prasad Yadav.
I will tell you the truth,now in India,women is shouting every day, she is not treated well but in every house nowadays women is treated fairly and equally in every matter.It was 20 years back when she was not treated well but she is now given every luxury also and that has made many womens proudy also which has led to transformation of indian culture. In terms of technology and education, north india is far better and much better communicator of english and there were scenarios when south was use to be leaders but they are not now and south is not good communicator of english but north is faster learner as south is but not a good communicator leaving few.Delhi and Chandigarh are so good in education that there own people does not get admission in their cities and states but that will also become easier as education is getting spread like anything without caring how much is need.South was preferred by businessmen but now north is equally preferred.I know mallus and kanada people getting their tongue twisted and not speaking proper english. As far as India written communication skills concern.It has become equally good in every sector of india because of many reasons,it wasn't as good as earlier.UP,Bihar,Orissa and some of the few more states was disastrous in written skills. North was always better as far as Punjab concern they were always better because of their better infrastructure, which was always better from every state. Indian villagers are now only lacking inliteracy

I am from Delhi and I have to say North India is loaded with poverty, illiteracy, superstitions and exponential birth rate. South India is the leader in technology and education.
