It seems the consistent empowerment of women has resulted in more negative affect than positive in the society. I have noticed a drastic change in the behavior and attitude of women since a decade as compared to those during 70s-90s.
Women became more "liberal", developed "boy-friend", Valentine, x-before marriage type western cultures, women became more tough towards treatment of their in-laws and husbands, tendency to go for divorces etc. This may be due to pampering
by Govt with too many laws against males.
This change also coincides with the beginning of UPA (with foreigner) at center.

Their is always two side of the coin. Due to education they have their liberty to choose what they want. So many educated women get top jobs. Due to no education they are exploited in different part of india. So it is always better to educate them. If you are father are not going to give your daughter education?

Where else should or can they send their children?!

Private schools are expensive as h3ll!

Government funded schools are cheap and depending on the locality you live in, not that bad!

The "Keral" woman must have been an educated one to have ditched you.
Your experience, albeit sad from your point of view, is proof that women need to be educated so that they make wise decisions and do not suffer because of their bad choices.
