From critic to Admirer
by K Bhaskaran on Jun 17, 2014 10:08 AM

I am talking about me. I was very critical of the PM and apprehensive of India's future. But the good governance that he is practicing - be it domestic or foreign - without bias or favour is highly appreciative and will bring glory to India. May be some of his ministers are a bit anatagonist to non-BJP states. Mr. Modi may correct them.

Modi and Manmohan Singh
by Ramesh Vijjapu on Jun 16, 2014 11:02 AM  | Hide replies

The difference between Modi and Manmohan Singh is that, even though Mr Singh had very good ideas and thoughts to be implemented, there was no cooperation with his council of ministers.
One should not forget Manmohan Singh's service to the country for a decade. It's not easy to be in that position in a diversed country like India.

You are pleading forgiveness on behalf of Manmohan singh. If it was his private affair .. OK... but he squandered 10 years of opportunity. Being an intelligent person he could have sensed that he will not be able to implement his ideas.. he should have quit.. Alas !! your Manmohan singh will be remembered as a PM who failed...

Ramesh Vijjapu,
Even I have few great ideas but that doesn't qualify me as PM of India.

MMS was nothing but a puppet. He should have been a professor instead of a politician and certainly not a PM of India. MMS had the authority to fire his council of ministers. But he didn't exercise it. This makes him weakest of the leaders.

Just as in every country the honest tax payers are the ones suffering quietly,
in politics a good human being can never be a good leader. Period.

infact, he blindly endorsed all the wrong doings taking cover under " compulsion under Allies". Few lakhs crores were looted right before his eyes and he was a silent dumb spectator. Intelligence of no use.

PMO office has an impressive array of officers with a wide experience in administration. I guess it is time for a change from old way of doing business. Hope Mr. Modi and his team will build an India which will be respected by the world at large. I like Mr. Modi's decision to select a team of achievers to his office.

Ok, so suggest another formula if you have any. Please dont suggest Amethi formula of fake Gandhis...
Modi was successful in Gujarat bcos he worked hard for development. He will work harder now, and make others work hard as well. Raul Vinci was using drugs during that time...

Gujratis are sbmissive by nature. Modi will have to establish Voluntry control and compliance over himself and then on the entire country before he thinks of doing something. This needs 5 yrs at least

There are some M0r0ns who speak without getting complete info. Mr Ramesh did you saw or read the reply given by PM in Loksabha on President's speech ? He told there that even in Gujarat, one district's development model is different from another district depending on the requirements of each district. And that made the successful GUJARAT MODEL. Still there are some m0r0ns who just like to badmouth Modi.

There is severe shortage of power in Delhi. And Modi vacationing.
The time when India needs the Prime Minister to help them, he is just enjoying foreign tours and leaving the citizens to the mercy of power companies, controlled by crony capitalists.
Watch this great video to know the truth.

If BJP has the guts ask Ambani to keep the price of Kaveri Gas @ USD 4/btu instead of USD 16/btu with effect from 1st April 2014. After all it our own natrual resource and don't allow Ambani to loot the natural resources of India be it gas or coal from Sasan field

Joy Kuktty,

The gas field was allotted to Ambani in an open bid by by UPA regime. When it is leased to a certain period, on certain terms and conditions, which the govt. of INdia (not MMS or Sonia) and REliance agreed to follow, Modi or NDA cannot interfere in it. It is for expert to comment on this after reading the full contract and a laymen like you have no business to talk on this subject.

Who said he is vacating. Are you drunk or on a slumber? He was on an official visit to Bhutan. Congress alienated all our neighbours, be it nepal, bhutan, sri lanka or any nation. BJP is rectifying the mistake committed by UPA. There is no power shortage in Delhi. Due to the storm of 30th May, several poles have been uprooted, power supply is disturbed, and it was made to all known that it will take time to rectify those lines and the Power Minister Goyal sated yesterday that by this Sunday, things will be normal. Since I am in Delhi, i do not need to watch any video. Personally experienced the destructive storm.

Every year during summer, vegetable and fruits prices go up. There is nothing new in it. When the congress was ruling the pries of onion went up to as high as Rs. 80 and 90/- in Delhi. Neither Modi or BJP promised that within one month or two month, they will bring down prices and instead of dirty water running in Yamuna, they will replace it with amul milk!!

Modi's style of work is to cut the snobberies of high-profile well rooted top bureaucrats in New-Delhi ,to be shocked to work in backroom slogging.
Modi cn throw away olddiscourse of authority assuch, and calls for effective realization of clearly stateddefinite objectives.
His is the businees-Model of Maximising net GDP.
Let us see if the luxuriant ,flowery discourses of old Rulers is scuttled in favour of quick delivery of specific Targets .D.Goel
