Before Udayakumar-- Medha Patkar has to be sent to the moon. She has been solely responsible for her unwarranted protests in many projects. Throw all the frauds in jail!!!

NGO has been used as a tool for hampering India's unity
by Arul Muruhan on Jun 12, 2014 02:49 PM  | Hide replies

The aim of the NGO is to create unrest like what is happening in Ukraine, egypt, syria, etc and want to hamper the unity of India, and weaken its growth. Govt has to immediately ban these outfits and put them behind bars.

NGOs in India receives more than 10000 crores from abroad
by P S SHAH on Jun 12, 2014 02:17 PM  | Hide replies

India should restrict the activities of NGO whose intention is always to hamper the growth of our country. Megha Patkar has delayed the Narmada Project by her agitation against Sardar Sarovar Dam and now people has realised how much beneficial that project is. The other lady Tista Setalvad concentrate only in Gujarat and she is totally blind to the violation of human rights elsewhere in the country. Yesterday I had seen the debate show of Arnab Goswamy on Times Now and seen that the lady representative of Greenpeace had no reply to anything at all when Arnab Goswamy grilled her. What right Greenpeace people has to advise us not to go for Thermal. Hydel or Hydro Power when the country is facing acute shortage of electricity and the people are suffering ? Who are they to ask us not to import Palm oil from Indonesia ? How they have shifted their attention from violence in Kashmir valley to the East India ? Do this people has guts to say anything to USA, China or other countries ? Most of the NGOs act like merceneries and safeguard the interest of the people who give them donation. The NGOs like Green peace are serving the interest of foreign countries who dont like India to prosper. It is high time people closely monitor and watch the activities of such NGO to stop misusing their activities against the interest of the nation. If possible all NGO should be brought under the right of information act and anyone can have right to know about their activities in the country.

These days Social Enterprises have got added to NGOs. At inernational level also many socia enterprise funding organisations have come up. The activities, objectives etc. of these Soc Enterprises including NGOs appear very normal and above suspicion. Also the founders and promoters of these agencies appear well educated, professional in approach and running/managing the organisations and look above suspicion. It may not be easy to fix or prove that there is wrong doing by these organisations. Small example is that an employee of such hyderabad based Soc Enterprise received n asty (meanesst) mail from its MD who is IIM (B) alumni. This mail was informing the sacking of employee. This was brought to the direct notice of Chairman but MD is happy in his position enjoying the b lood money earned. If the organisation was really the right one sure the respected Chairman would have asked the MD to leave with immediate effect or got sacked with immediate effect for the kind of mail which is na styyest and cru ellest to the core. But surprisingly that gelntle man is happyly enjoying even today

RTI alone will not prevent these foreign funded NGOs from promoting the vested interests and dictates of their benefactors at the cost of the nation and our 125 cr people. They should be dealt with strictly and banned from getting any money from abroad, whether legally or through illegal channels. If the operators of these NGOs are so concerned about the causes they espouse, let them put in their own money and solicit donations by cheque from the lakhs of rich people in our country. A total ban o donations from abroad will see these NGOs folding up and getting exposed.

FOREIGN MONEY FOR DESI GOOD
by ashutosh mathur on Jun 12, 2014 02:08 PM  | Hide replies

Colonizers who looted our country and divided it into 3 parts couldn't be so magnanimous as to send thousands of crores to some smart-alecks who leave jobs to float NGOs.The NDA govt should crack down with full force on these NGOs who have religious, cultural, political and economic agenda. Conversion of Hindus is one of the biggest agendas, followed by protection and aid to terrorists/naxalites in the name of human rights, spreading dis-affection against Indian culture and Institutions, sabotaging developmental work, fanning communalism in the name of protection of minorities, and generally keeping India backward in the comity of nations. It will be interesting to know how many foreign funded NGOs operate in China.

Bring NGOs under RTI
by dhananjay patil on Jun 12, 2014 01:52 PM  | Hide replies

Nobody has right to decide what NGOs should do and what not, if found illegal then the trusties should put behind bars. Make all NGOs including political parties under RTI act to bring transparency in funding etc
