These days Social Enterprises have got added to NGOs. At inernational level also many social enterprise funding organisations have come up. The activities, objectives etc. of these Soc Enterprises including NGOs appear very normal and above suspicion. Also the founders and promoters of these agencies appear well educated, professional in approach in running/managing the organisations and look above suspicion. It may not be easy to fix or prove that there is wrong doing by these organisations. Small example is that an employee of such hyderabad based Soc Enterprise received n asty (meanesst) mail from its MD who is IIM (B) alumni AND ALSO Ex ACTION AID GUY - what a coincidence. This mail was informing the sacking of employee. This was brought to the direct notice of Chairman but MD is happy in his position enjoying the b lood money earned. If the organisation was really the right one sure the respected Chairman would have asked the MD to leave with immediate effect or got sacked with immediate effect for the kind of mail which is na styyest and cru ellest to the core. But surprisingly that gelntle man is happyly enjoying even today.

The IB report is alarming.Immediate steps should be taken to end the menace.First of all all NGOs regisdtered should through local newspapers tell their activities and publish their annual accounts. All tax exemptions should be withdrawn.Foriegn send money to stop our progress; local agents ie officce bearers of these NGOs do the dirty job because they can make good moeny. These fellos are cheating the donor and our country.

Why Govt. of India allow foreign funding? Whether Govt. is not in a position to take care of our country peoples ? Modi Govt should stop foreign funding & investigate the last 5 years funding.

Greenpeace and Amnesty
by vinnie on Jun 12, 2014 04:56 PM

No government worldwide likes Greenpeace and Amnesty international; this includes US, UK and other western governments too.

Greenpeace is banned in Russia and China due to their activities. They are pro-environment group, but their activities are bit dramatic so they are made hero by media. What we need to understand that earth's natural resources are depleting and no government is willing to back down on their development activities which come at a price of environment. People in various countries support this group because they are willing to take a stand.

Various governments do not like Amnesty for various reasons. US government does not like them because they are pushing for removing death penalty and against Guantanamo-bay. In India various governments do not like them because they are pushing for human rights. In India it is common for state government to use police department to silence opposition. Police department never works within framework of Law. If someone if influential they have good treatment, everyone else is tortured first before finding facts. Judicial system is joke in India.

As this article points out there are of-course hundreds of NGOs who are proxy to malicious activities including forced religion conversion and some funds transfer to terrorist activities that does not mean we should scan them all in same way.
