The Difference.
by Anand on Jul 03, 2014 09:51 PM

Mistakes happen. Problems occur. Some accept them, but the liars and deceivers give false reasons.

On the first day of this Metro, there was a problem near the second last station Jagruti Nagar which stopped the service for around two hours. Promptly, an official of large business house declared that they purposely stopped the services to control crowds. Not true.

Now that their sub-standard rakes are leaking in their brand-new condition, the ADA spokesperson declares- and this has to be the biggest insult and joke going around- "In construction of such structures, these leakages are normal and generally require attention after the first showers". A silly cover up which even a half-wit won't buy.

What next?

Nothing wrong with Chinese Goods
by Jack Daniels on Jul 03, 2014 08:54 PM  | Hide replies

Indian perception is that everything from China is Cheap and everything from Germany or America is best.

Pls remember that there are Bullet Trains in China. Apple Products, Dell Products and many electronics, Car parts etc for big American Companies are manufactured in China. Just turn ur laptop upside down and it says Made in China.

Unlike India, Chinese have this capability to produce Quality for Cost.

If our Indian ministers negotiated their profit share in the Cost and sacrificed the quality for it, this is what we will get.

Please don't get confused between 'Made in China' brands & Chinese brands.

All brands like Apple, Dell etc. are not chinese brands. These companies get them manufactured from chinese using their own technology.
Otherwisw most of the Chinese brands are always cheap & of low quality.

There is no confusion. Pls get out of a rational Indians view about Chinese products and read my lines again.

The beauty of Chinese Business Model is, if we pay Peanuts China will deliver Monkeys and if we pay Dollars China will deliver Diamonds. China is capable of delivering a product with same features, but the quality depends on the price

It all boils down to what our regulators paid to buy the crappy Coaches.

Are you kidding us ? Seriously. Made in China products are laughed at everywhere. The day they started outsourcing manufacturing like barbie dolls, apple phones and other stuff , china products are being trolled all over . The Chinese ppl know how to replicate a model and then they try to deliver it. But the design and material is almost always leaves a lot to be desired .
At beat they know how to replicate a project and deliver albeit with lower quality

I think it is Korean and not Chinese.
either way it is a bad design.
since both Korea and China are expert train manufacturers, where the matter is life no one in the world will compromise on design and build.
Something some where has gone amiss and needs urgent investigation and cure.

It is the duty of rulers to provide basic amenities to citizens;
by nitmohan on Jul 03, 2014 05:38 PM

It is the duty of rulers to provide basic amenities to citizens; as for that purpose, they are elected by people.

An advertisement is being published by Congress keeping elections in mind in which it is stated that ‘we constructed hospitals, roads, schools and we started metro railway; we brought in Food Security Bill’ etc.

Congress collected billions of rupees from people through taxes and provided amenities like roads, hospitals etc. which means they have not obliged people.

People know that Congressmen have not spent money out of own pockets to build these things.

After looting people for the past six decades and increasing own bank balances; it is now necessary for Congress to do at least these things to save their faces.
