How long such things can happen in India, will they construct agree their house to seep water like this after spending so much money...?? those who are responsible must be punished...this is not the first thing for Mumbai - there is another big scam happened during the Cricket world cup Vankadey stadium - the BCCI said they have spent hundreds of crores to build that stadium but the stadium work was not even 70% complete for the final match and also it was a very substandard work - look at the Brazil football stadiums and Australian cricket stadiums - the construction and fish looks far superior to the Mumbai cricket stadium but the BCCI says they spent massive amount to build the stadium - where that massive amount went...?? BJP should not let any one go free - we the public will fully behind PM NaMo if he takes action against any one who looted the public money...

Is it public money as metro is not a government project as that of Indian railways and is particularly of reliance and from reliance funds. Howcum the metrotrains in kolkatta are different and in mumbai different. Anyway reliance giants will rectify it, cos every money count for them.

overlooking the project have no shame in this happening and would not do anything to rectify this after all ka jeb garam.

Abroad, the Corp would be taken to court and also discussed in Parliament/Legislation for wasting public tax funds

The comments of the Mumbai metro spokesman is ridiculous to say the least.
Is exposing the passenger filled rakes to heavy rains the method of checking the waterproofing of the rakes? Should the rakes have not been checked for water porosity before commissioning? Even if the rakes had been washed with water, these faults would have shown up. Ullu math banao!!!

The word 'Apology' does not appear in the Indian culture of 5000 ? years ...
Another phrase is 'civic manners'.

vov, showers in Metro. Great. Somefools are going to start metros underground, have they made their studies, all drainage water will go underground and the metros too will be filled with water, wastage of money and loss to the giant who is coming up with such underground project. Will the metro running in sealed pipes where no excess to water during rains than OK, but what about ventilation??? THINK 1000 TIMES BEFORE WASTING MONEY ON BRAINLESS PROJECTS.

one solution for now is built unbreakable glass shed above two feets with glass slope, supported by steel rods.

the glass should not be shaked by stromy weather to fall on underneath running vehicles or civilians to cause casualty.

Underground metros are running smoothly in Lolkatta, Delhi, Lomdon, Paris and many more places. Rain water does not flow into the trains. What is required is foolproof planning and execution. Please avoid negative comments.

underground metro will be a disater. either the drainage water will seep in or the tunnels will collapse. better to use foot or bullock carts. time tested method for the indian subconinet.

leakage
by surane joel on Jul 03, 2014 01:12 PM

which official said this ??
"In construction of such structures, these leakages are normal and generally require attention after the first showers.”

Ask this question to that Fkin official.
Can we afford to have this in submarine ships, passenger ship, boats used for rescue, Air craft, etc

by pradeep agarwal on Jul 03, 2014 01:11 PM

He has messed up RCOM,RNRL,BSES,RPower & now the image of leaking compartment in brand new service. Is he really taking interest in business or has simply taken investors for a ride who are all ruined by his misadventures?
