devyani's fate
by rajesh kumar singh on Jan 13, 2014 07:43 AM

Being an IFS she should have very well realised the importance of other countries rules and regulations. she herself made the mistakes and took things for granted. india to save the face blindly supported her and made the important relationship with US a fragile. Does she deserve this assistance. If not she should be tried out in indian court. There are many other indians in US who may require this assistance but this incident will not give them benefit. she should have thought have them also. well cheers to india as we are not that weak against USA but she should be punished for her mistake. no mercy shown.

Sour and sweet end to the Devyani drama

The author seems to be an IFS officer since 1967(now may be retired). But none knows about his name till his articles has been published nor what was the worthy service rendered by him as an IFS officer in other countries he served for the benefit of our country. In my view both the IFS (mockingly called as Indian Foolish Service) and IAS (Indian Arrogant Service) do nothing worth of their salaries. Our country do not need such services which were created when India was under the control of Britain. The general tendency of the people in these services is that they are above law and are unquestionable. At the same time they are not held accountable for their actions. It is better that the Government will deeply consider abolishing these posts and the IAS posts may be officers of respective State Cadre and the IFS by political or men of good deed and education. I think that in most of the other countries there is no seperate cadre posts to fill up the embassy positions.

She tried but she lost. Be it an example. Cheating on her maid was a really bad calculation. Trying to escape the consequences of her own actions and decisions and shame others instead is another cheap move. She should keep quiet and face the law, not arrogantly think she is above the law. What she got, she deserves. Should have thought better first. Let us always concentrate on the victims.

Khobragade can always reunite with her family, call them to India. She has committed crime and she has to face and suffer it now. She has given India a bad name. She deserves to be severely punished. She is trying to fight US, come on, be sensible, who has won fighting with US so far. You have already lost your case, just wait for your punishment, some of it already started. You are suffering this today because the brain of your dad. Your dad is responsible for your situation today. He is the real culprit. Take 10 minutes and think, you will get your answer.
