Since 65 years, Bharata Ratna (in politics) has been used by Cong to honor only Nehru dynasty. If UPA-3 were there, they would have given to SG and then RG also.
It is also seen that the honor is more focused for North Indians.
No doubt, Vajpayee is deserving Candidate, but before that, PV Narasimha Rao should have been considered. Though He was more bolder than Vajpayee, Cong sidelined Him (due to non-Nehru dynasty) and BJP looked him as Cong man. Hence, I do not see any Govt can look at his candidature. His other drawback was, He is not from North India. Another person who is most deserving is Dr.Homi Bhabha. much earlier than other scientists.
Stop nonsense and raise your concern to ensure that the person who became an approver, gave statement verbally and then in writing naming two person who revolted against british government that resulted into their conviction is not treated at par with Netaji Subhash and is not awarded Bharat Ratan.. Name of the person is Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
Google to search the letter. It is available. Type Letter submitted by Vajpayee to british government to come out of jail.
If Atalji and Kashiram ji are being recommended for awarding " Bharat Ratna" then a number of political leaders are deserving for the award, all Political Party President and all the personalities who had hold the seat of Prime Minister of India such as Chandra Shekharji, Charan Singhji, HD Dewgodaji, PV Narsimha Raoji,Indrajit Gujralji are the candidates for conferring upon the highest award of the country "Bharat Ratna". Humble request to all concerned not to make such award equivalent to a honourary degree from any University. Save the status and dignity of 'Bharat Ratna".

You can not put Netaji in the catagory of people you have mentioned.
Netaji is our greatest hero and at par with Gandhiji. In opinion of some he is tallest leader.
He deserves the highest award to respect the feeling of millions of Indians who love his contribution in freedom struggle. Have you heard the name INA.
nation has conveniently forgotten one of the worthiest sons of the soil, Biju Patnaik, only for political considerations, During his illustrious career, even if he was only a chief minister of Odisha state twice, he was far ahead of many others in reckoning for the BR award, He has been shown a total neglect by the powers-that-b at most of the times to honour him with highest civilian award. As a daring pilot during pre and post independence movement he had done wonderful contributions to national interest . He was better recognised not by our own nation but internationally by other nations including Indonesia, Russia & China.
Netaji , is a national hero , Govt should plan to have his picture of 100 / 500 rupee currency notes...replacing the smiling gandhi...Bharat ratna to Atalji is a perfect tribute...but not to Kanshi Ram , we cannot have him on the same pedestal as Dr.Ambedkar...almost for similar social contributions...Kanshi ram has the most negative political contribution to India in the name of .."behanji"...

Yes the killers of Gandhi think he was an ordinary person but the world was astonished that without resorting to violence how he was able to defeat the mighty british.
I even give very less importance to Noble Prize because they have awarded peace prize to small fishes and not to Gandhiji. Better you join the noble prize committee

The only worthy person besides Netaji is Dhayanchand. Atalji does not desrve it despite the fact that I love him, because he tendered an apology letter to british government to come out of jial and for that submitted a bond.

Netaji, Vajpaiji, Malavyaji all fully deserve BARATH RATNA. All of them great leaders of our nation. But not all Kansi Ram. So many will ask who is this person. someone is interested to please mayavasthi. Hence his name suggested. Pl do't tell tomorrrow that LALU, MULAYAM AND MAYAVATHI'S name should also to be included in the list. What a shame these so called leaders to our great nation
Conferment of ‘Bharat Ratna’ to Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is absolute defamatory. Stature of Netaji is far above these awards. By no means you can justify this conferment of award to him. Moreover if it is ‘posthumously’ where is the proof of his death? Now it is well known fact that Netaji did not die in the so called plane crash of 1945. Declassification of all Netaji related files which are lying at PMO & other places in India & an immediate drive to bring back all documents lying in Russia, Japan,China, Vietnam & other places in the world, would make a real sense & perfect respect to this ‘Patriot of Patriots’.

You may think so. But Bharat Ratna is the highest award though misused for political purpose.
We Indians who have some knowledge of Indian freedom movement feel guilty that this Anmol Rtan was not bestowed upon with the available highest civilian award by our own governments in power.
Netaji without this honour also remains at par with Gandhiji as far as the respect and love is concerned.

Whether you give Bharat Ratna to Gandhi or not he is a Mahatma for whole nation for his invaluable contribution for the freedom of the nation. This Gandhi and Sardar had never expected any benefits and perks for themselves or their families in return of their role in freedom movement and as such none of his family memebers are never associated with the power like only one family who has got monopoly to enjoy power, position and perks.

It is already a little too late for our sleeping PM Vajpayee. Vajpayeeji has done a great service to the nation by sleeping for almost 7 years during his tenure as PM. And this achievement does deserve the great Bharat Ratna award.

It seem you do not know contribution of Atal Bihari Bajpai and good governance of NDA government under him. Bajpai is the only leader who command respect and love from every one including opposition parties.If Rajiv Gandhi deserve Bharat Ratna, why not Atal Bihari Bajpai ?

Mr Bajpai has never expected Bharat Ratna for him and even if it is given to him he will not know the importance of it due to his present health condition. Do you think Bharat Ratna given by Congress party which ruled the country for more than six decades to people like Kamraj, Rajendra Prasad, Zakir Hussain, V V Giri, C Subramaniam, Rajiv Gandhi was correct when the people like Mahatma Gandhi, Subhashchandra Bose and deserving others who has played an important role in freedom struggle are not honoured ? Have you seen the letter of an apology written by Bajpai to British Government ? Whatever you may say, but there are very few people who has no respect for Bajpai due to your complete bias mindset.
