helicopters of pawanhans are not named anywhere. other privately held helicopters are also not requisitioned....why? when in the name of election private vehicles can be grabbed, why in such a case of disaster private helicopters can not be requisitioned ?
The nation is grateful to the personel of the defence forces for rescueing thousands of stranded tourists and pilgrims.They risked their lives and sacrificed their lives for others.No amount of words can show our gratitude for their heroism and sacrifice.
BCCI has given Rs 1 crore each to all the players for winning the Champions Trophy and Rs 25 lakhs each to the members of the support staff.I request BCCI to please consider giving a substantial amount to the brave defence personnel killed and injured.These people are not wealthy and to some extent the nation would be helping their families.
The visit of political leaders creating hurdle in carrying out rescue operations. It is better they do not visit flood affected areas of kedarinath and try to help the victims to reach their homes by inducting more no.of helicopters or else make them reach safer place whichever is practicable.
