That's called leader. That's why I am always a supporter of a Democratic Party than an autocratic party.

Good decision by Gadkari...." I have opted out " to save BJP. we appreciate. If necessary, one more CA certificate could have been obtained so that he can remain in the race.

Good riddance to Gadkari

Everyone knows that UPA2 has proved to be Independent India's most corrupt, inept, insensitive & callous government ever and now Shinde & Digvijay's comments confirm it as blatantly communal too! But it is a glaring shortcoming of the BJP, that it has not been a beneficiary of any disenchantment with the Congress though the BJP has a much better track record on corruption.

There is public skepticism over the BJP's posturing and delaying tactics in corruption cases involving Bellary Reddys, Yeddy, Katta, etc in Karnataka, the shameless shenanigans of Nitin Gadkari & his web of dubious companies, or the way a honest Khanduri was replaced by the reviled Ramesh Pokhriyal in Uttarakhand. The BJP should have removed the corrupt Bellary Reddys, Yeddy, etc even at the cost of sacrificing the Karnataka regime. Similarly Gadkari should have been shown the door much earlier!

The BJP has capable & popularleaders like Modi (Gujrat), Manohar Parrikar(Goa), Shivraj Chauhan(MP) , Raman Singh (Chattisgarh) and the alliance with Nitish Kumar in Bihar where efficient & non-corrupt governments have got support from the people.

But a lot people now have doubts over the capability of the BJP Central Leadership to set matters right and over the internal mess it is in. Whom do we VOTE for? People like Gadkari have only added to the woes of the

Khushwant Singh famously remarked that "Indian commoners are among the stuxpidest in the world; they re-elect thieves

Well written & good analysis!! Don't agree with last para. Slowly but gradually, Indian mass have awakened and will change their mindset. Will be visible in 2014 by region wise result of General election. Now, in India, people's focus is regional development. Whoever work better will win irrespective of party line. Examples are recent Gujarat and Utrakhand state election results, where BJP won as well as lost - at one place for good deed and in onother for bad deed. This is true sense of India's democracy. Time is changing now, am sure "INDIA WILL CHANGE".

Now, BJP leaders must come out of their AC Rooms and visit to Rural area with good coordination amongst themeselves. Only then, they will be able to wash out the Cancer of India i.e. Congress Party and its deep rooted seeds in Gandhi family and "Gandhidom".

Mr.Gadkari, you have done enough damage to BJP as also to Indian Democracy! The party is pushed 10 years back of its level of credibility and now your claim to have opted out to save BJP is a statement far from reasonableness. All those who have concern for BJP shall curse you for your dirty hands that spoilt the party's face. You deserve a complete reprimand, including removal of your primary membership! If you had not opted out, people would have forced you out notwithstanding the secretly held support you were perhaps enjoying within. Now that you are out, let there be complete probe free and fair to bring out all the dirts you gathered under political impunity. Long Live Indian Democracy!

You have decided in your mind that Gadkari is guilty. It was wise of him to opt out, but to conclude his guilt is wrong

.President congress and President BJP of bjp-congress cartel
by hogajoga on Jan 23, 2013 06:15 AM

Here is THE DIFFERENCE, bjp and congress are TWO FACES OF one party bjp-congress cartel. In BJP, president title is just show-off for media and title has no power. Whereas in congress, dynasty commands kickback, Admin/propaganda/media cell and MP/MLA tickets giving, whatever title they may take. today their title are President and vice-president.
